I allied with the soviets to help me take down Nationalist china and we did that then Japan invaded me again and again so when world war 2 started America got attacked by Japan and joined the allies then declared on the soviets through a focus then that brought me into a war with the allies result me owning all of Asia except for Russia and Nepal because I never got a moments rest...

At 2:20, yes, if you have a core on a territory that is also a core of another nation and you free said nation, you immediately lose the core you had on that territory. Not sure why it works like that. I figured it out one day while using the debug toolbox.
The reason why there is no core because when you give core territory to another nation that holds a core in that nation, you lose the cores. EX: Germany has a core on Danzig, Poland returns Danzig, Poland loses core on Danzig.
It's amazing the manpower you get from the get go!! It's crazy!! Btw you should do a guide on which dlc we (or at least I because i'm new to this game) should buy! ;)
wow not going the + stab focus tree route is taking a huge risk here (I think if you do the second + stab focus + improve worker conditions (as a good commie should) you no longer have the risk of mutinies (I think you need above 50 stab for that), and worker conditions is basically free, as you don't that many guns production at the start of red china). If you get a mutiny it is basically a restart. (And you don't really need to fully train those horse divisions, in fact you can just train the 4 divisions and just deploy them when they reach 10% exp (and have 12 guns or something). I personally also attacked a lot more with my divisions at the start just to lock their divisions in place (this grinding also generated a lot of army exp, so you don't have to hire the advisor early). Use those human waves (as a good commie should). I just tried this achievement this weekend (But I also tried the other chinese achievements like 100 mil facs (ones gotten from occupation don't count grmbl, and the lvl 9 one), and I branched out a little bit more west. The iranian oil fields and indian building slots were just too tempting). You also can get organizer earlier if you make that other general a field marshal. Focus on china (and any +war support) also gives combat bonusses because almost all of china counts as your core. Ow btw, I wish I had known about the AA thing. RIP may brave communist workers who defused japanese bombs by standing under them. (This delayed me kicking the japanese of the mainland by a year I think, esp as I was big brained and went fighters first...).

(I read that you first need to up stability above 50% again and only then it works, but not sure if this is it or im just very unlucky).
I’m stuck trying to naval invade Japan home island. How do I get naval superiority? I’m spamming subs, but Japan still has a massive fleet and kill more than I can make. Any advice?

Honestly you got way too fortunate with the Japanese. I've never seen China hold back the Japanese for that long, most runs end with Japanese going far into Chinese territory before 1939 and I've never seen Japan only navally invade one area at the start of the war. I like the method you used to conquer the first three nations though, I've learned a lot from it.

As a Chinese man myself, I follow the guide in the intro of this video and get the "people have stood up" achievement. After 2 years of none stop trying, we have finally stood up, but I'm not proud 😅

29:06 Dave here's a slight mistake. You could say Mongolia is rightfully part of China, but the point is which China you are talking about. Historically, the PRC (Map Zedong) never claimed Mongolia as their territory, but the ROC (Chiang Kai-shek government) did. However, in 2003, we the ROC, has officially recognised the independence of outer Mongolia and therefore the territorial claim has been removed from our constitution.

Doesn't a single general with 24 or 30 divisions(with skilled staffer/expert delegator) gain more xp when fighting at max strenght than a field marshal that has 5-7 armies under it?
This was among the first things I tried but there were no gaps in the front line. Maybe it has been fixed? Breaking through the defenses took so long that Japan already started its attack from the other side.
Everytime I pushed into Mengkukuo the land just went to Nationalist China and their divisions attritioned me to death meaning that I couldn't even build up there to decrease the 12-20 % attrition I was suffering all the time. RIP
@@wilhelmrk I still don't get the idea behind the Mao-Branch. When going for social democracy I got the whole nationalist china once in May 37 or so without any exploits and fights. Playing Mao style I always end up with my like 8 starting divisions still stuck in the mountains when Japan starts the war. The historical Mao on the other hand could unify China also only late after WW2 ended, if I remember correctly. The pure marxist branch seem even more pointless, than Mao's. It only gives you alliance with the Soviet Union. But you can do that the regular way much faster and even rush to the experimental tank division that way as it allows you skip 2 focus points. I also don't understand the sabotage options. You can cripple nationlist China but why would you that when you are going to take it? Also their military power will still be much larger than yours. Maybe it helps the sabotage Japan, win the war and get more power a land with War Participation? Difficult game, looks always so easy on youtube but when I try it, nothing works. ;-)

Hey could be worse with generals. As a Greek Byzantium I ended up at war with the Axis and Soviets and essentially was barely holding on with Greek territory left. I looked at my Generals and I had a level 7 general with 9 attack and 1 defense... At least I had another general that had 3 attack and 9 defense.
@@alexschmidt443 I read his description and followed steps to gain access to older versions from Paradox via beta code and reverted to the build where the observe tool still existed. Then I completed the achievements. It was 2 months ago so I dont remember he started this in the beginning of the video tho.

The penalty for crisis's isn't that bad. Sure losing 150pp isn't nice but it's not the end of the world

I also don't understand the sabotage options. You can cripple nationlist China but why would you that when you are going to take it? Also their military power will still be much larger than yours. Maybe it helps the sabotage Japan, win the war and get more power a land with War Participation? Difficult game, looks always so easy on youtube but when I try it, nothing works. ;-)

Hey could be worse with generals. As a Greek Byzantium I ended up at war with the Axis and Soviets and essentially was barely holding on with Greek territory left. I looked at my Generals and I had a level 7 general with 9 attack and 1 defense...
At least I had another general that had 3 attack and 9 defense.

@@alexschmidt443 I read his description and followed steps to gain access to older versions from Paradox via beta code and reverted to the build where the observe tool still existed. Then I completed the achievements. It was 2 months ago so I dont remember he started this in the beginning of the video tho.
