The init=/bin/bash needs to have an extra step if SELINUX is enabled. "/usr/sbin/load_policy -i" should be entered just before changing the password. Otherwise you will not be able to log in.

HI My friend....Do you know how I can chage my video driver to nvidia driver from the grub prompt.
I only get a black screen after the password.
And other videos suggested that it is caused by the generic Linux video driver.
I want to switch to my nvidia driver which is alredy installed on the system.

I tried resetting my password by going into emergency mode but the new password is not accepted by the system.I tried multiple times resetting it but no luck.Now i am not able to login at all.Please suggest.
I got the solution we need to do this after the password reset.
Configure the system to automatically perform a full SELinux relabel after boot. This is necessary since the passwd tool re-created the /etc/shadow file without an SELinux context.
