Thanks @Tune To Linux. I was able to fix this exact same issue I had by following what you did on this video faster than RH support!:) Thanks for posting this video!
Thank you for sharing knowledge , its really useful one . In this Video you were aware where you kept grub.cfg file , if grub.cfg not available in the system , how to get that ?
Nice video.... but if we have accidentally deleted the grub.cfg .... then what shall we do after rebooting our system ... you moved the grub file because you have it ..but if we dont have it.
how to fix kernel panic attempted to kill init! in Redhat 6.1 ------> even i cannot execute successfully my chroot /mnt/sysimage in my machine. i have tried all the possibilities but i cannot fix it. Please help me.
Hi after typing initrd /initramfs-(kernel version).img am getting error message as first you need to load the kernel could you please tell how to load the kernels in grub prompt
With "insmod" you insert a module into the Linux Kernel. Use "lsmod" to for a listing of loadable Kernel modules. You may like to use "modprobe" instead of "insmod". Hope this brief info is helpful. More details can be found on them on the Internet as they are quite helpful system tools or commands.
