    I'm really looking forward to your video about playing outside of the scale. I'm struggling with passing notes and chords so much these days. Because sometimes I want to use a note that doesn't belong to the scale or the chord but I can't understand if it sounds good or bad, whether I should accentuate it or not. Asking random people doesn't help because their opinions are very subjective

    • @rlyBeats
      @rlyBeats  Год назад +1

      if it sounds good, it is good. but playing outside the scale, technically there are no rules to it as there is non scalar music, non scalar music felt too unstructured so someone created tone rows, which basically provided structure to non scalar music in a way that makes it work

    hey
    i have a weird question !
    about chord progressions , there's a rule or whatever they use the [ i ii iii iv v vi vii ] thing !
    in a major key they go like : major minor minor major major minor diminished
    in a minor key they go like : minor diminished major minor minor major major
    i used this rule in fl studio and it worked when i choose the scale of [MAJOR] and [NATURAL MINOR]
    but when i highlight for example [MINOR HARMONICS] it goes weird and i find that some notes using that rule are out of the scale highlighted :/
    PLEASE TELL ME music theory gang !! any info ? any ?

    Is it possible for a beginner with almost no musics background to learn to be a good digital Producer? I’m just starting out and wanna make fire beats like you but I’m overwhelmed with music theory and all the different selections of instruments and how to make unique Melodies.. where should a beginner start?

    • @rlyBeats
      @rlyBeats  Год назад

      yes its possible. music theory is overrated, i have a few vids going over some simple music theory stuff as well as a few videos about making melodies, good ones, unique ones and artist specific ones, but i think most improvement comes through practice, making music, getting feedback on it & just overall improving with time
