Alex Berry Yes. He definitely began adding more and more vocal harmonies as the years went by. A lot of the songs on "By The Way" and "Stadium Arcadium" wouldn't be as good without the backup vocals. There are a lot of people who just love to hate on the last 2 or 3 Chili Pepper's albums. I don't get it. They're the same musicians who came up with the songs on Mother's Milk, Blood Sugar Sex Magik, and Californication. Artists have to evolve or they get bored.
This makes me think of a girl I like allot, that lives overseas from me, but hey no worries for me, lifes in no hurry, I'll just meet her in my aeroplane for the future memory lane (=
