nice video Sir,. Could you please review the question, " a teacher claims that the median time to do a particular type of statistics problem is at most 3 minutes...." especially the null and alternative hypotheses. i think the correct one was the typed one and not the one you were trying to write
The question where teacher claims at most 3, in the end we succeeded in rejecting the Ho , and that is greater than 3, so answer would teacher claim was true, plz review it.
Sir I think in example 2 Ho = neta is less than or equal to 3 Whereas H1 = neta is greater than 3 Because in our question we check teachers claim not students claim and teacher claim is median time is at most 3 so our null hypothesis is neta is less than or equal to 3
Sir I have a question, as we all know that if a dataset not following Normal distribution then we go for non parametric test. But here the dataset following Normal Distribution then why we are using sign test we can use one sample t test?. the example is "How many hours do you study before a major Statistics test? ".
Hi. Very nice video. Please, how did you find the critical value? What is more, when I do the Sign test in the SPSS program I get different z statistics. Thank you so much.
Kind request from you to learn more on setting hypothesis, you've set it incorrectly a couple of times . Otherwise Explanation was Lucid ! Thank you :)
sir really enjoyed learning stats... so grateful. please make a video on Duncan's range test I'll be having exam in upcoming week. I want to study from you. thank you sir.

you're right
When t - statistic >t critical value= accept null hypothesis
When t-stat
No it is same in both test
Really best and the wonderful, worthy full classes

The question where teacher claims at most 3, in the end we succeeded in rejecting the Ho , and that is greater than 3, so answer would teacher claim was true, plz review it.
Firstly H⁰: n Tç therefore we accept H⁰ this indicates that the teacher's claim was true......
Really sir very easily explain all lectures and thank you
Sir I think in example 2
Ho = neta is less than or equal to 3
Whereas H1 = neta is greater than 3
Because in our question we check teachers claim not students claim and teacher claim is median time is at most 3 so our null hypothesis is neta is less than or equal to 3
As almost 3 implies
Same observation. Teacher claim is 3 that is your testing the students claim not the teacher's claim .. can you check that sir.
This video was very helpful. Thank you so much!

how can calculate critical value z at 5% last-1.645.pls.tell me sir
How to find which statistical test should be used for which question
One teacher told me that the null hypothesis should always be equality inspite of the question saying otherwise. Correct me if I'm wrong
You aree wrong ☠️
In the last question the value of + sign is 8 but you calculate 7. Please check it and correct..

Critical value is taken from statistical table (look at any stat book else find statistical table of sign test on google)
Where are you from ??

Confusing setting of NULL and Alternative H
Z is gretaer than critical value we usually reject h but -0.71 is greater than-1.6 then we reject but you said accept. Please clarify me sir
Test is rejected when |Z|>A; here A is critical value, i.e., when Z>A or Z < - A.
@@DrHarishGarg yes sir but in example z=-0.71,A =-1.645
|z|>-1.645 we usually reject
But in problem u accepted
When |Z| >1.645, then H0 is rejected. .. Here you see |-0.71|< 1.645 and thus H0 accepted .
@@DrHarishGarg yes sir but its is critical value of zat 5%level for left tail is -1.645
Plz explain median and run test also
