Lakia deserves credit for how efficient he is with the Skye util, especially on the Defense side.

Viper's decay is her biggest strength which hard to contest by other controllers. The fuel-based smoke is also very useful than other agent's smokes/wall since you can turn it off and on at will.
if they ever nerf her again they should make u not be able to turn it off and on at will, would b a decent nerf without damaging too much of her actual kit

Honestly, the meta this year with significantly less Skye and Viper has been pretty interesting, I kinda hope Viper doesn’t see a massive resurgence with Abyss or anything

@@vinayakchaudhary2502 Cause one Sentinel really defeats the purpose of Viper on that map lol and unironically the map is TOO big for a static wall and orb. Harbor def should be seen more.

I hate playing viper now. Her toxins go away so fast and only one molly. Now I play more omen/astra
Riot it feels like is not nerfing Viper just making her more klunky to play an require more and more precise timings which is just annoying to play and is frustrating.
I think how nerfing viper without rendering her unplayable is very hard because of the nature of the agent. I would suggest to change her fuel(-economy) by
A) increasing her fuel amount to a really high max like in total 30s or something like that but change her regaining fuel over time to it starts to recharge when she has no fuel left or next to none.
Or
B) Increase her fuel capacity to somewhere around 40-45s but thats all you have for the round.
Ofcourse you had to change her mollies mabey back but with a bit less time on them and change that orb and wall together do use more fuel but not much just a bit more.
Just let viper be able to pick up the smoke.
I can live with the wall and orb nerf but removing one molly and increasing the price that just killed it

Its not a new comp. It has been the 2nd most picked comp when haven was last in the map pool the only thing that changes is a nerfs to viper and skye

Okay, but you have to realize, Vipers pick rate has significantly gone down from 88% to 35-40%. Why has there been no talk about Omen and his high pick rate of 89%? Vipers already difficult to play in ranked properly, at what point do we stop nerfing an agent just for pro play? Fix the other controllers rather than tank one agent. Haven is just a good map for Viper if she's used properly. She's had enough adjustments this year, she's not overpowered in the SLIGHTEST anymore. I rarely see Vipers in my ranked games (gold/plat lobbies).
Omen likely hasn't seen any nerfs because he has one of the lowest win rates in ranked. It's like ~45% IIRC.
Omen is prob the most balanced agent in the game rn. The other controllers who fill a similar role (astra/brim/maybe clove) are just too weak. And no offense but pickeate in gold/plat lobbyes doesnt mean anything. If it meant something then reyna would be the best agent in the game
riot has more measurable metrics than you could imagine, no offense to you but your subjective experience of what’s good or not in gold and plat means nothing. clove is a perfect example of it, she has the highest win rate of any agent in lower ranks while is virtually unpicked in pro play, and just a sidenote, she got nerfed because of how she was playing in your ranks. if riot changes agents it’s because the data from every single player says so

Look at Omen's pick rate in all the regions for Stage 2, he needs a nerf asap
Walls are very effrctive but if deployed incorrectly can be disastorous. Viper ensures that all walls deployed are perfect whilst harbour not so much since perfrct walls require u to be at a specific place which cannot always be achieved
Overpowered is the last thing i'll call Viper. Ultimate aside, I havent seen a single Viper in any of my Gold 2 to Plat 2 games all season. With the sole exception of when I happen to duo with my friend (who used to one trick her, but rarely plays her himself these days)

In pro play. Omen now has a 88-89% pick rate. Almost doubling Vipers 45-48%. Let's nerf Omen to the ground then

viper is very strong, you're just not using her correctly to properly make use of her broken kit

They need to fully rework fuel so they can safely revert it for ranked whilst making it worse in Pro.
She really good in highly coordinated team play. But if they need her she’ll be shit in ranked bc no one plays together
