Glad that you mentioned the maid dragon TD controversy! I tried it with one of my leftover decks and it was absolutely opentable from the bottom. A shame for people who wanted that: Poolside Tohru SSP :(
Good box and TD opening! Glad to see how good Tokyo Revengers is as a whole in the meta. Standby, Choice, and the featured characters like Mikey and Drachen put up some amazing potential
it bottom is more likely for convenience, I work at a sandwich shop and the sandwich boxes they use for the chicken sandwich has the same bottom design as the trial deck's decks, it's easy to store when flat, and when opened the bottom is already sealed and doesn't need to be seal with tap unlike the top
would that be for the hololive type trial deck or the tokyo revenger teeth one? thanks so much for the info! i wouldve never thought about overall ease and storage.
Weiss Schwarz continues to be the game with the most risk associated with it when buying from people. Dunno how people can trust buying from random online sellers at all anymore.
As someone who can not afford to buy whole cases of decks or booster boxes, i always expect to buy searched boxes or decks when buying from someone...feels bad.
@Rosamune agreed! i have mentioned my mixed results with my mystery shopper thing. definitely seems to be some shady places out there. i really want to know the cost savings of using this new trial deck version for english format.
@@WeebInvestments69 That is rough, but in that situation I would honestly recommend going for single cards or playsets if you are looking to play the game. You really aren't gaining anything from opening dead boxes unless the pack opening experience really makes you happy
In regards to the banned art, you might want to double check your box and see if it says ‘For Sale Outside of Japan’ on it. The art was also switched for the Japanese boxes that weren’t sold domestically. So basically any stores/people that get boxes from a distributor would have the international version w/ censored art. You would need to order from a domestic JP store (Amiami, 1999 etc to get the uncensored cards) unfortunately 😞
Never watched the series, having no time, though it seems a multitude of options with choice and just a tri color set. I think the bands on all my different JP TD's were looser than the EN variants btw
yep i was looking through and there was a few options for choice. seems pretty fun with all the synergy. thanks for the info on bands. i know it is produced in different places. never expected that much of a diff between the two bands.

hopefully they make the change back. amazing that a piece of tape can play such an important role.
@@BigBAnimeTCG For real! I was surprised that it was so easy to open and reseal. It doesn't help that the bands in Weiss Schwartz come off so easily!

i think that is part of why im so dead ser on standby. really since u get the mikey and draken doing work. i think itll be fun to play.

@@Rosamune would be smarter to buy singles of course but i like the gambling and the hope to pull something expensive even if there is little hope 🥲😅

mine doesnt say for sale outside japan on it unless it is written in japanese. that was the reason i was confused by the switched art.
awesome unboxing :D

Well I guess you talked about it on this video hahahaha. Ignore my previous comment from the other video.
all good! i saw your message. i just thought i didnt have to say it but of course, they changed to match the jp version.
Danmachi has a super meta deck 😵💫😵💫
are u talking about the 12.event deck?
@@BigBAnimeTCG yeah 12-13 event gate/pants. Super techy dech though
ya i saw the deck. definitely can be good but also have some drawbacks. i feel like i wouldnt want new people to play it either.
