The middle east's borders can be quite strange, but perhaps the most complicated are the borders between Oman and the United Arab Emirates, and between Egypt and Sudan.
Not only is the border between Oman and the United Arab Emirate complicated, its not even in a single piece! Bizzare! There is a piece of the united arab emirate inside a piece of oman that is itself inside the united arab emirates, making it one example of a strange phenomena called a second order enclave.
An enclave is when a part of a country is completely surrounded by another country, and with Oman and the United Arab Emirates there is an enclave which was another enclave inside it!
The large outer first order enclave that is owned by oman is called Madha, and the interior smaller second order enclave is called Nahwa.
Also noteworthy is the Musandam peninsula which is an exclave of Oman which strange because it is detached from the rest of the country.
Another weird situation is the Hala'ib triangle, which both egypt and Sudan claim, and Bir Tawil which neither egypt nor sudan claim.
This makes Bir Tawil one of the world's only Terra Nullius that is claimed by nobody.
Even stranger is how that situation came about, because at that time Sudan was owned by both Egypt and the British at the same time, all while Egypt was technically a part of the Ottoman Empire, but practically a part of the British Empire.

I'm Sudanese... Sucks but our country isn't the largest in Africa anymore. Then again, the southerners aren't the best people. They are very hostile towards the Sudanese and towards each other... So I'm kinda glad they drifted away. The two countries were never meant to unite in the first place as the two countries are of drastically different cultures, but the British screwed things over by carving up Africa to their agenda

To make it clear there’s no conflict between the UAE and Oman and in that part there is no real borders the Omani government rules it’s part of the land and the same goes for Sharjah. And for the real borders we can cross each other’s borders with our ID cards. Same goes for the entire gulf.

this is what you tube is paid from zionic bussiness mmen to do to you
      Zionism & Wahhabism
      - both are genocidal bloody criminal heretic ideologies that want to eradicate all innocent citizens in the middle east even from their same religions like non zionic Jews (Samaritans) in order to rebuilt their divine caliphate of Solomon
      - both were born & supported by the west (British empire) to destroy , destabilize & robber the middle east with effort of Balfour British minister & Lawrence the British spy
      - Zionism & whaabism are why ISIS (the wahhabic Islamic state ) & ISrael ( the zionic Jewish state) are doing bloodsheds , bombing their neighbors by F35 gifted to ISrael or stinger rockets gifted to AlKaeeda or M1A1 Abrams gifted to ISIS from the western governments that betray their own taxpayers by wasting 59 tomahawk rockets equal to 1.5 million USD *59 = 88.5 million US dollars only hoping preserves or even return the dignity of ISrael air force that lost one of the new F35 aircraft in trying to raid Damascus weeks ago .. The new F35 that gifted to ISrael is the prime aircraft in USA arsenal ... this is how Zionism that brainwashing ISreal Zionists in the ISreal authority & society until they lost their mind & dignity .. also wasting the western taxpayers budget ... same to ISIS M1A1 Abrams & AlKaeeda stinger rockets
      - Zionism & wahhabism also killed & assassinate heroic Jewish & Muslim innocent peaceful Leaders over decades like prime minister Yitzhak Rabin & president Anwar ElSadat the myrtles of the peace treaty
      - Even when the leader of Israel the elected head of the country himself tried only to provide peace to people who elect him like Yitzhak Rabin he assassinated for his efforts to protect his homeland , his family & his citizens ... this what you expect from any genocidal terrorizing bloody ideology like Zionism or Wahhabism
      - Zionism is why Israel cannot accept any presence of non zoinic Jewish people & only had a Jewish ancestors on its land ... so any Christian, Muslim , even Jews without a Jewish ancestors , & even any non zoinic Jews will be executed by Zionism .. Same to the wahhabism
      - Zionism also want to rebuilt temple of Solomon .on the same area of historic Jesus Christ churches & mosque locate in
      - Zionism is even wasting any political solution with the Palestinian Muslims , Christians & even Samaritan Jews as it brain washing Israel people & authority heads enough to made the only solution accepted them is by killing anyone who is not a Zionist
      - Zionism "chosen ones" recently tried to fulfill their dream by rebuilding temple of Solomon in instead & in the same site The Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem which months ago has warned that it may shut its doors to pilgrims The church, where many Christians believe Jesus was crucified, has had its bank account frozen left hundreds of priests, monks and teachers unpaid .. all of that ONLY for a water bill that the Zionism brainwashed Israel "chosen ones" regime saying that it is unpaid … so the church of Jesus Christ himself that pilgrims came from all over the world and afford the Israel economy itself in hotels with cashes .. is threaten in the Trader of Venice style .. & what about the water supposed the church was continuously get for centuries before.. this is an example of how Zionism brainwashed "chosen ones" effort of eradication & genocide not only the middle east but the whole world

      Barry Irlandi
"Tawheed"= beliving in only one god (monotheism) or believing of the unity of the god ..... this word is bervity for the expression "Tawheed blAllah" = believing in unity of the god Allah (Yahwee in hebrew )
the expression is simply describing the Abrahmism or Islam main believing ... that is it
also by the way ... "shia" =political advocators .. it is an abbreviation for "shia Ali" = political advocator for Ali ... Ali Ibn Abi Talib was Candidate to Leading the muslim world (caliphate) ... he lost the 1st election aganist Osman Ibn Affan .. it was very respected & honerble election helded for 3 days & every single person even the women & the youth voted in it in 644 BC... & Osman won very honorably ... BUT after 12 years Osman died .. it supposed another election held ... rather than that the Muslims fighted each others each one for its own political advocator ... that is what form ONLY a POLITICAL split between them .. that is it

These borders are very interesting. However I am still found asking the question why? I live in the UAE and am still trying to get to the bottom of why there is an enclave of Oman in the middle of the UAE and why is there an enclave of The UAE in the middle of that. I have always wondered is it due to old tribal burial sites or is it down to oil etc. Would love a good explanation.

    • @abood.7795
      @abood.7795 3 года назад +3

I might be too late but I can explain it to you. In the late 1930s or early 1940s the leaders of the four rival clans who ruled the Musandam Peninsula gathered a group of village elders of the nearby village of Madha and posed a question on to which sheikhdom the Madhanis want to pose allegiance to. While Madha chose Oman, Nahwa chose to stay loyal to Al Qawasim of Sharjah, effectively making them a counter enclave within the exclave of Madha.

@@abood.7795 many thanks for your reply. That’s solved my ten year puzzle. When you look at the UAE map with an enclave within an enclave it was very strange.
