    Thanks from Japan.
    You understand the principles behind this component better than i do, but I was able to follow your commentary.
    This is the first video in my journey to learn basic vehicle electrics.

    The one for my boat engine is over $700, so after seeing your video i'm going to do it myself.
    No way i'm paying that much, Thanks

      It may take some of your time but not very difficult, and worth your time and money.

    6.15.23. @ the 6:00 minute mark, you did a voltage test between the three phases and you said that you had millivolts, you need to be checking for AC voltage not DC⚠️You have your meter selected for DC volts.

    • @ParsMaker
      @ParsMaker  Год назад

      you are are right,😇 but i think i still should be able to read even though it was DC on multimetre

      @@ParsMaker 6.15.23. The Stator puts out an AC voltage, The rectifier/regulator then converts it to DC then it’s regulated for the battery and the motorcycles electrical system.

      I too noticed that

    hola, gracias por el video, para agregar solo diría que es bueno limpiar bien alrededor del motor para no trabajar con suciedad cerca que pueda caer dentro del motor y tape algún orificio interno de lubricación del motor, y además el conector desoldarlo de la unión con la bobina de cobre para que no queden empalmes protegidos con cinta aisladora.

    Is the wire you used here insulated?

      Did you use coated wire?

      @ParsMaker  2 года назад

      Its high temperature enameled copper wire

    Hello. Thank you for your another great video. I'd like to ask did you put any silicon where wires come out from generator block?

    • @ParsMaker
      @ParsMaker  2 года назад +1

      Hi, No I didn't use any silicon, just passed the wire into the old rubber sealing points.

    Me if i twdt it qith multimeter i direct from that wire one of them and to the ground for the delta and wye connection three phase. Of there is a continuity to ground it has problem in stator hahaha. Burnt stator

    The output shouldnt drop below 13V at idle.

    • @ParsMaker
      @ParsMaker  Год назад +1

      Because I used a slightly bigger diameter wire , the number of turning is less than the original winding, so the output is less , instead I can draw more current

    • @oliverbanford
      @oliverbanford Год назад +1

      @SkillfulMan you can run more lights etc, but there needs to be sufficient potential difference between your charging output from the stator and the base battery voltage for it to charge.
      You look as though you know what you are doing so I trust you have factored this in the repair..
      Why no resin?

    • @samuels9489
      @samuels9489 8 месяцев назад +1

      @@oliverbanford I also wondered about why no resin.
      The initial start would probably give a low idle speed voltage reading as the battery has to recharge. Once recharged, the voltage should not drop below 13v at idle, I agree.

    What is the minimum length of the wire that i need to this job?

    • @ParsMaker
      @ParsMaker  9 месяцев назад +1

      Hi, To be honest I didn't measure the length but it doesn't take much if you put higher gauge wire, I would say about 10 to 15 meter

      @@ParsMaker Appreciate it!

    • @samuels9489
      @samuels9489 8 месяцев назад

      @@eliasalhaweij9969 1 pound of 19ga or 18ga enameled copper wire would be more than enough for the required length. I prefer 18ga even if it means using 25 turns per pole which should still work with less heating on the regulator, especially if an LED headlight is used.
