Glad you like it :) Yes it should be relatively easy to switch up to your preferred style by moving where the strap connects to the bag.

Nice concept. You don't say anything about the strap; is it adjustable to be worn on the waist as well? Is it in the pattern or should the maker just wing it?

Indeed, the strap is really up to the maker's preference and use style. I could imagine this work very well as a bum bag also.
