Roy Monroy it’s funny, to me the snare sounds Way to thudy. Not enough snare and tuned low haha. It just shows you everyone has their own preference. It’s a good thing God only hears the heart of the one lifting up praise and the drums anyway

Break it down into nuances and parts ,every part that sounds complex has a very simple pattern in the beginning at least that’s what I try to do 👍🏼
Lol bro you can do it! Just take each chorus/verse/bridge by itself in order. Doesn't have to be perfect. Try to find the patterns. He repeats his parts throughout the song.
I'm playing it for the first time this Sunday. A song like this isn't necessarily difficult, just time consuming to replicate.

I always wonder how you guys always get such a great snare sound....i use a tune bot but man that is a killer snare sound.
It’s got a trigger on it that’s sent to a computer that has a preselected sound on it. Then the actual snare and the trigger sound are mixed together. In fact, all the drums have them on it.
The triggers are just used for gates actually.

Well they have 18 Campuses and I know at their main ballentyne broadcast location there is at least 4 drummers on rotation there so must be over 20 drummers all together.

I would say they have a second mix just for the in ears, they would have a click/tracks as an input but only to the in ear desk, meaning that it isn't heard through front of house
