I was lucky enough to train my first spaniel at the Essex get together. When you grandfather was teaching along with Rachael gosling , Wendy Knight. Well worth the the160 mile round trip every Sunday. Brilliant times .
We just lost our beloved Sprocker at the ripe old age of 15 and we are really trying to come to terms with it still after only a few weeks. Your beautiful dog and your beautiful way of explaining why you chose that breed has made me perk up a little. Bless you for that and take care
I am definitely not a professional but all my dogs were is to train. I do allow mine to range out to 25 yards or so. Only hunt wild birds on public land and after the first couple of weeks when only the smart ones are left you must improvise for hunting the runners (all of them) know how to hunt with springers it is awesome. Still say, doc the tails!
Own a springer and no gun my springer loves to run free and chase anything that moves I own no gun and love my dog as my friend and my golden lab also.
Could you give me some advice on your experiences with both Springer and cocker. I can not decide which one to pick and do not know which would be best for me and my family
I just love your expression "little people", sounds so charming and loving to me and shows your great attitude towards your dogs
I actually bought a pup from your grandad when he lived in Thurston suffolk. what a great gentleman.ill never for experience and advice he gave me
Wonderful dogs. My Springer will cuddle you endlessly; however, put them in the field, and they're all business, and make fine gundogs.

I so dearly want to get another Springer, even if it's a mix. I miss the loyalty, and genuine love they have for children.
Thankyou I will the other episodes also but it will be 1 a day. Loved this episode!
