Splendid craftsmanship Kenji! Oh yes, and the stunning clarity of the sound really comes through. JBL has always defined the sound of movies for me and I personally enjoy playing classic soundtrack scores on mine.

'Lets put aside all of the nonsense and just listen to the sound'.... wow! The sound is incredible. Kenji my dear sir, you are a genius. Long life to you!

yeah not bad..! I can't hear any metallic voicing from the drivers that's good, but it's a bit on the brittle side I feel, I think it's that digital signature I don't like, and the higher mid-range is a bit on the forward side. I think maybe rolling the mid-range top frequencies a bit more down and using the compression driver and bringing it down maybe 70Hz to 110Hz more, those compression drivers should be able to cope with 500Hz or 400Hz hertz quite comfortably, shouldn't it? I can hear some phase issues slightly I don't know if it's down to reflections from the room recording, playback recording, or speakers, I'm not sure but yeah very good sound quite nice if you've got rid of that digital front end. you should try a DS cartridge They're nice if you like that digital in your face sound, I wouldn't call it detail I don't like that word it's not really detail in the sense of it. do you run the mid range in phase or outer phase? it seemed to have plenty of character and can fill a big stage. try sticking the grills it's got grills to the inside the outside of the speaker, I tried it good results. there's a manufacturer does this I just attached them with blu tack but when you're building them if you put magnets in the grills and some metal discs in the side of the speaker then you could attach the grills to the side of the speaker has to be on the inside not the outside, plus it's a good place to store your grills. I find it made it much cleaner centre image more defined, I think some smearing from the cabinet was blurring very slightly the centre image, try it out and see what you think. yeah Bob James I like Bob James good track maybe the mid-range could be boosted at its lower end more even bringing up the registry from the woofer a bit more felt a bit light like it's a dig a bit lower or adjust the port slightly longer maybe an inch around 40 hertz I wanted a bit more in the room.
"I can hear ..." No offense, but no you can't. This is a recording made with a handheld microphone that is constantly moving around, that has it's own compression, limiting and high-pass filtering, that has been compressed for uploading to youtube, re-compressed by youtube, and then coloured very much by your own playback equipment. it would be hard to tell what it sounds like if you were able to get a lossless recording because the mic already taints the sound, let alone after all the compression. What comes out of your speakers or headphones is nothing like what came out of theirs.
i like your work and your vids!!

It sounds overly compressed. I'm listening through JBL Mixing Studio Monitors.

@ys4493
エッジ修理に関しては他メーカーにも対応しますが、スピーカーシステムとしての取り扱いは基本的にJBLのみです。
