Red lentils, such a good idea. I never thought of it. I was looking for nutritious hiking meals. Here is one.
Thank you very much Murph
NUTS
Really good hope to see more one pot meals
Fantastic! I'm trying this next trip. New follower here. Well done. Crow
how do you clean all of that while practicing LNT. Especially in bear country.
It comes out of the pot pretty clean, not to much residue leftover, the remaining residue I wipe out with a cloth.
Thumbnail claims to not use dehydrated meals. Then proceeds to use dehydrated ingredients. Perfect!
That’s how we roll baybee
More food content!
Threw another one up! I’ll keep making them I like it.
Some good ideas, also the Jetboil Minimo is good at simmering.
I have heard that about the Minomo still have not tried it yet though. I really struggled with my other jetboil with its lack of versatility.
Can also chuck some split peas in there too!! Nice and greeeen
This was really good. I’m pretty tired of the same stuff I always eat, so I’ve been thinking about trying some different recipes. Thanks for the inspiration. Also, just subscribed 🦑
Thanks so much! I plan on putting about a few more videos about the meals I like to eat on trail. Stay tuned!
Great job. Great menu. But doesn't it take time and fuel to cook lentils? Packet tuna for me. You have a super channel. Thank you.
There’s a couple ways you can do it, I will ether simmer for about 8 minutes and keep the stove turned wayyyyyy down. Or just bring them to a boiled, put the lid on it, set it aside and wait 20 minutes, then bring it up to a boil again.
I love eating tuna as well but I generally eat it at lunch every day.
Thanks for checking out the channel!
Mmm yum can’t wait to try!
You can add sardines to it if you wanna be gnarly.
simple elegant delicious!
lol couldn’t help my self
That was great, no apology needed.
A great start, for cooking ideas.
Thanks!
Great meal idea. Those lentils are for sure still crunchy tho haha
Undercooked legumes have a protein in them called lectin. Lectin causes stomach pain, diarrhea, and sometimes vomiting. There’s no way I would put myself through that daily. The split varieties lentils cook much faster than the other varieties.
Spülen nein danke..........
Nice 👍🏽 🥘 💯
Thanks!
What are you shooting with and using to record audio? Shots and audio are fantastic! More food content fasho
I have a Sony A7C. And I use a lapel mic for my audio. Seems to work pretty well, I kind of wish it was wireless. And that I had a shotgun mic as well.
