It's really annoying reading the comments, its not like he's stopping making his normal videos. If you actually *watched* his videos you would know he's doing these as a bonus sort of thing he's not stopping his normal order videos.

+rocky stone YOU may like that more, but for some people (myself included) I enjoy both and honestly there is something truly relaxing about these style of videos. One of the fondest memories I have ( and even as an adult) that I still occasionally cry over is that of my grandmother cooking breakfast for me when I visited. The sound of bacon and sausage sizzling, of comfy percolating, the shuffling of her slippers as she walked to and fro from the fridge to the stove. To some people, these ambient sound only videos help elicit emotion, calm them, even bring them a sense of peace. In fact, he is doing these BECAUSE he cares about his viewers and gets happiness out of our enjoyment.

I don't get ASMR from this personally but it's definitely a relaxing and interesting experience. I like how precise he is with the camera shots.
I don't understand people who can't appreciate these videos. It's perfectly fine to be quiet and listen to and enjoy the peaceful silence or ambience in this case sometimes, or all the time even. There's no need to always talk. All of his videos are great and this is a very cool format as well.

I enjoy ASMR videos, so I approve of this. I typically go for longer videos and have them on in the background wearing headphones, or while I'm going to sleep. This format doesn't work so much for that, but I can see it's not designed for that kind of thing. I still enjoyed it regardless, I've never seen an egg cooked like that either, so that's fun.

You can do it to any kinds of vegetables to make them as namul. Korean dish have a lot of different namul.

What I would suggest to those who are afraid of eating slightly raw eggs: Make the dish first, get it all ready, then "poach" the egg when you're almost done. THEN add the egg. That way, you know the egg is still hot and fresh rather than it sitting on the side until you're completely done. And as Runny says in the description, "Egg should be room temp."
Great video, runny! Looks delicious! :D

I think this one was far more successful than the first! Seems like you took your time a little more and let the more enjoyable sounds happen (like the crinkling). What makes asmr videos so cool/relaxing is hearing high quality gentle sounds like rustling, whispering, and other soft sounds or motions.

I love how this video came out! I'm really glad you took everyone's advice because this video was pretty perfect for an ASMR video. I'm also going to have to try that method for making eggs because I've never seen that before. I'm really excited.
It makes me upset to see how angry other people are getting over these videos. You never said you were going to stop making your normal videos and you haven't. I don't understand why people don't want you to have more variety on your channel. :/ I've been subscribed to you for years and I will support you in whatever direction you want to take this channel. I'm glad to see you experimenting and branching off in new directions. I know that making the same type of videos over and over again can become tiresome.

As a huge ASMR fan and a huge Runny fan, I was super excited to see this new series. This video is way better than the last one, you're definitely improving. I have a question for you though - do you experience ASMR? If so, which ASMRtists do you watch on youtube?
Also I notice a lot of people don't really 'get' what you're doing with these videos. If you enjoy making them keep at it! Maybe even consider a second channel if you're really into it. Your fans love you and will continue to love whatever you do!

ASMR video is something that most people like bcs it is so relaxing to watch (for me at least). Some people like it, some people dont. Its gonna take some time for viewers to get it. Runny is just trying out something different. He still makes the regular cooking videos. He already explained why he is making these ASMR videos. It's what he wants to do. If you like it, watch it. If you don't, wait for the usual cooking videos :)
