Well, I was born in Wrocław and living there for 25 years. I don’t know where you got that number but definitely a 2+2 family doesn’t need as much as 2k USD. Definitely less. 2k would be with renting a 50-60 m2 flat, then 2k is quite probable. Same for single person and almost 700 USD… if eating all the time outside - I would agree.

Wroclaw use to be very very cheap. Now it's expensive. It's nice in Summer but in Winter it's very gray and dismal. Dark early and cold. I lived there 15 months. In Winter you drink, in Summer you are outside as much as possible. Nice city I liked it but in Winter cold and boring
