If people want to see champs fight cans, they can go watch something else. This is the best of the best. Of course it’s going to be close.

Apparently winning 3-2, in a contest between 2 of the elite that you expect to be close beforehand - isn't enough to win a title fight, but is fine if a belt isn't on the line.

As someone whos listened to ariel for like a decade, is it just me or is he starting to become a little unsufferabble sometimes? Like constantly playing that victim, sooking about people having free speech or simply just throwing around some banter? Maybe im changing, i dont know, but i find myself getting a bit over it

Seriously could ask something about the fight not a question about sexuality or thoughts of it. And we all already knew the answer for the question cause Sean's beliefs are well known. The only purpose for the question was that it was going to get clicks, in my opinion
I think Dana must have heard wrong when saying Allen vs Movsar was boring. I thought that was one of the most exciting fights on the card imo. The scrambles were awesome.
This show is the only reason I know who jasudavicius 😂😅 and I actually tuned in early to watch her because of this lol

Ddp hasn’t ever gone past 3 rounds in any promotion and he’s only ever gone the full 3 rounds once in his whole career so excuse us for questioning his gas tank

You absolutely nailed it, regarding the decline in professional conduct since new years in Mexico. 2023 was by far the grossest year in ufc history.
Ive been a fan since the early days and haven't missed an event since 2010, but this year really challenged my Fandom.
A good thing that has come out of all this is that I've been giving the other promotions (PFL, Belator, ONE, karate combat... etc) the attention they deserve.

The Arnold fight I was saying was the best fight besides the main event . Dana looked so tired and wasn’t understanding the questions . Mosvar deserves a title shot after 1 more win imo

Another great show .i personally thought Stickland won the take dwns went no way he kept coming fwd clearly. The damage ws on Dricus.Jst look at his face haha if any 1 deserves a rematch, it's Stickland. There ws talk of a rematch after he fought Izzy & it wasn't even close + Izzy lost 2 or 3 of his last 5.DDP obviously scared and clearly doesn't want a rematch. We're not talking abt Jon Jones returning here. Izzy vs. Chimaev winner verses the winner of the rematch makes the mst sense 2 me, and that sets up a massive fight and if all the stars are all in line. Then, fight in
Agreed, I scored it for Sean as well, it was a tough fight to score man. Sean out worked Driscus by a lot, and in my opinion Driscus didn,t take the belt convincingly as it should be. Usually in a close fight the Champion gets the decision. Sean deserves a rematch for sure, hopefully he gets a big money fight against the winner of Driscus and Izzy.
Interesting. I was struck by how much Sean didn't go forward, especially as the fight continued. And he imposed damage in the first, which he won. But he didn't add much to it. But he received more damage over multiple rounds, which the scoring favors. Close fight though.
It's lunacy to think Sean deserves a rematch. Lunacy! For what? To see him jab his way through 5 rounds? And does he have the resume to get an immediate rematch? And to suggest he should sit and get the winner of Izzy DDP is insane. Do genuine fight fans really think that's the path forward?

I’m a huge fan of Julianna, I think right now she sees how people are hating and overall not interested in women’s MMA so she’s trying to get things going again and try and get people interested in women’s MMA again.

The knock on Dricus du Plessis not being able to go the full five comes from him never showing us that he COULD go dive. He always looks tired and has horrible body language.
That said, he did pull through in the championship rounds and showed he can. Kudos to DDP
There's a difference between not needing to go three rounds and not being able to go. Some questions are fine, but it seemed a bit much. Hopefully this performance ends that. His endurance seemed adequate.
Not surprising that Ariel is friends with and backs the reporter who was baiting Sean. Love Ariel but I hate the way he handles certain fighters
I agree with NYRic that all knees should be legal but not the soccer kicks, those are too brutal. No need to see somebody get curb stomped in a cage, that's more of a street fight thing not a martial arts technique.

It doesn't matter if he deserves it, and it especially doesn’t matter what you think. The ufc and DDP are both smart enough to know where the money is, and they surely care more about their business success than standing up for what "macdaddy" on youtube thinks should happen. Its really not that complicated to work out. Just admit you're mad because the person you hate is getting something you dont want them to.

Wow, so DDP decides to cancel last min. True act of a champion, considering so many champs after winning have come straight on. Sean won that fight, DDP was rendered unable to speak.
Idk how you win a championship with less significant strikes and keeping someone down for an average of 20 seconds.
it's called round by round scoring. Once you watch more of the sport you'll start to understand👍
Because the fight isn’t scored based on total strikes. Judges don’t see the totals in between rounds. They go off what they see that round and usually they’ll favour the fighter who is stronger towards the end of the round if the first half was close.
@@MaxMW1 Sean landed more damaging strikes in 4 of the 5 rounds and dricus didn’t try to get a sub or ground and pound Sean with those short lived takedowns 😅
