- Early winter is a welcome change after a long summer. The days leading up to Christmas are always busy. But it all got done and here it is Christmas eve. The anvil is quiet and there's snow in the forecast. I hope everyone has a merry Christmas and a joyous holiday season.

Thank you, John. You're like the uncle who kept me on track after my father passed. Always teaching, whether it was about life skills or just for fun. Daddy inspired my interest in wood and metal working when I was 8, at the George Carver museum. He explained how the loom worked, with Apple wood shuttles, and I've been hooked ever since.
