I know everyone loves it when Maldhound is here (me too ofc) but I super appreciate it when Airball is here, he makes the games super enjoyable and funny as hell lol

I will never understand why you guys do not target Nerdgirl first. She seems to always be the threat.
Because the decks change every episode? Because each game plays differently than the last? I don't have the stats, but in my mind Veggie wins more often, which still isn't a reason to threat assess a player as opposed to a game state.

Well you can stifle the trigger you just can’t bolt the creature in response to the flip to deny the trigger
This is the single greatest Airball intro ever.
Joe literally converting to the cult of Valgavoth in the hopes of surviving a little longer is an outstanding flavor win.

All for of these decks are pretty juiced but the valgavoth deck has that “each opponent” text on almost all the cards. I think
Prisoners dilemma would be a perfect add for a rakdos prison deck too lol.

These playmats are SO BEAUTIFULL
This was a good game. That said this is the one precon battle for these where none of the decks executed at the highest levels I've seen in other games. Nerdgirl came closest, but analyzing closely it was literally just the elf and the vampire that did the lions share of the damage as opposed to her stacking up multiple chip sources like has happened in other games on YT. Veggie didn't get out Yadora or Ashaya to great effect. Joe clearly didn't pop off. Airball didn't get the mill velocity or powerful targets as the Golgari deck has in other videos. That's all OK. Sometimes the decks just simmer instead of cooking off.
I just got my preorder for my collectors box and precon today on my bday, and I actually pulled the double exposure textured foil Valgavoth.

Around 16:40 when Joe killed Nerd girls commander, she should have drew a card for her commanders trigger... he has to pay the life before the commander dies.

I don't know why joe was everyone's main target at the start. The miracle worker deck isn't the most consistent since it relies of very high mana cost enchantments that have to be on the top of the deck to be playable. No one really tried to manage the burn deck till it was too late. I think basing your threat assessment mainly on the commander rather then the game actions they've taken is somewhat a mistake.

I bought the valgavoth and zimone decks and played them out the box yesterday i find it really funny today though given the new banlist to stop alot of fast mana cause my first game with the jump scare deck i got a turn 2 worldspine wurm with sol ring a signet 1 land and my commander then played terramorphic expanse manafest dread a worldspine cracked it and flipped it
How are you liking Jump Scare, I've only got to play one game with it so far, didn't really get the engine going, was too much removal at the table. I did hard cast an Omniscience though, and puked out a bunch of big tramply stompers lol. Endless Punishment was $99 Canadian, so I passed but it looks fun.
@@edwarddaignault5243 I really like it cause i like landfall style deck and it was a different take on it and my 3 man pod was all playing the precons the first couple games so we weren't playing stronger decks but it still preformed quite well after that though it didn't turbo out a 15/15 turn 2 again that was a truly god hand that game turned into wurm tribal for me cause I got the wurm token generator quickly i got lucky too with a hedgeshredder in the bonus collectors sample pack also sucks endless punishment was 99 I pre-ordered that one for 45 and bought the jump scare Sunday for 45 my lgs keeps them at msrp till actual release date
