MircoFin Carabiners help you pull in and lock off tension. The flat spool carrier keeps your set together while packing additional features. Right now, these are the only two sets in existence. With your help, we'll finalize the deign, forge them out of aluminum, and have them anodized.
Use MicroFins for your rain fly tarp, tie down 2x4 lumber in the back of your truck, or use it to clip your gear. Use them to tension your gear to your pack, hook them to your belt loop, or use it as a keychain. With your support, we'll fund a production run to get them custom made.

Overall, two thumbs up. I really like the shape of the carabiners, but it's hose serrations that allow you pick up the dropped coil that really stand out to me. I'm old and bending over is tough any more. That sucks, but never moreso than when you drop something you didn't want dropped! I will definitely be watching this journey and hope that I can get a reel and line in the near future!
I like the raw finish, but also having 4 different colors for all four carabiners could be usefull

Carabiners provide the simplest and quickest path to mechanical advantage in rigging with paracord or rope.

I'm down with whatever you choose, but I prefer red if they aren't going to be raw(which i think many of us prefer.... I have purchased most everything you have on your site and I backed this kickstarter yesterday, double catch. If they are awesome as they look, I'll be getting them for many people I know as gifts.
Fantastic. I’m ready to buy some and I think the raw finish looks great. Could it be possible that a smooth coating may make the cordage slip some??

Also, an idea... Not sure if it is reasonable, make that tension rod a mini marlin spike? I already have your spike, but a mini one to keep with the kit would be even better... Just a though, thanks again for all your hard work Brent.

Very cool. Unfortunately, I do kind of feel that if I knew how to do half of the stuff you do with the carabiners, then I wouldn't need the carabiners 😂

Cool piece of kit Dude! Anodized colour looks cheap and shitty in my opinion. Its more personalised for sure so will need colours to make more sales

Seems like the spool could be some sort of plastic. That should make it cheaper, lighter and less abrasive against the 'biners.
Rated and tested climbing carabiners are less than ten dollars from trusted brands. Why buy anything else?
Support small business. Support someone you like. Different use case than climbing. Not being a peen. Take your pick
