Excellent video. It helped me set up my box and the time and date information was very helpful. Yes, the slot for the micro sd card is wrong...I first tried to insert it but it wasn't engaging so I was super confused as to how to install it. Yep, aim downward like you said!

I still use my s2pro which I bought about 4 years ago and still works fine except they stopped sending me updates about a years and a half ago. But I still watch movies and ppv on weekends with it. Be aware they only send you updates for about 2 years to force you buying a newer model.

While doing some task using terminsl I cleaned some zorin os file accidentally which I don't know after that all zorin os preinstalled apps and all the icons and interface got deleted and some basic interface come but I some how able to revert it back but since then my displaying doing strange thing and software updater is crashing and iam not able to install any updated what should I do am new here I don't know what to do please help
When i watch tv, on the remote: the up button flips the channels down and the down button flips the channels up. How do i fix this? Or swap this option?

This is the best tutorial I have watched by far! I love my superbox, but someone please help me silence the speaking voice when I go to RUclips. Any command I click, it repeats. It's driving me crazy!

I have an 3-4 year old Monster box, that works fine except the audio quality watching movies is poor. Will the superbox audio be better?
I don't know about the Monster Box but I can tell you that audio quality highly depends on the audio output. If you have good speakers, you'll have good audio. The S5 Max itself has good audio when I hook it to my Edifier R1700BTs speakers
Thanks for the tips. 95+% of the reason to buy any of these preloaded boxes is for the live TV and VOD content. The real question is how good is the back end streaming service. How much does it buffer? What is the resolution being streamed? I had originally purchased a SB V1 unit years ago, but sold it on ebay in a month's time, as the buffering was terrible and most of the content was 480p. I'm sure it's improved by now, but does anybody have real life experience on the stream quality and buffering?
Can you have dish and super box hooked up at the same time and switch between the two without unplugging replugging and anything else?

Try this: Go to Settings--> Inputs, and turn off everything
Thanks for the tips, I got mine up and running this weekend. The only issue I'm having is when watching NFL games it freezes. Any fixed for this? I'm on ethernet
The only fix I found for this is to change channels so that it gets the information from another CDN (Content Delivery Network)

Hi, Love you and Super Box 5 Max. Your you tube video are very simple to understand, Only one problem you did not cover. After watching a movie for about 2 hours, it starts freezing and starting every 30 seconds. til the end of the movie. Ive only watch 2 movies since Ive had it. Just bought a 2 weeks ago and i need to fix now or I have only 2 more weeks to return it.
When it buffers, you can restart the video so that it goes to another CDN

I got a superbox S5Max but the tv guide channels are not right with our location. For instance when I put on the channel for CBS Denver it comes up for another state. It’s not bring up any of my local channels right. Fox 31 Denver, CBS, NBC, ABC. It does this with all my local channels. How do you fix it so the tv guide is right for my location.

Remove the rubber legs, the screws to open the box are under them

my s5 max is good but i have 800mbps internet, when i plug in the ethernet, it does not work. Live tv is stuck at 98%. When i use wifi, channels load immediately and tv streams. but the quality is terrible, not even 1080p. it’s 720 on every channel. I changed the settings and everything. i don’t understand
I have had this for two months. The live tv is great but the blue VOD is so buggy. Probably a defective box.
Question. Are there other boxes like the super box? Less bugs? Something more dependable?

I have two of these brand new and both have the same issue, when plugged in power well not watching will get a red light and will not be able to turn on with remote, have to unplug power every time and plug back in for it to work . Anyone else have this issue ?
SuperBox say to turn the box off before turning off the TV, this way the Box don't go to sleep

Me too. Occasionally it randomly works, but usually I have to unplug and plug it back in. I'd just leave it on all the time, but it turns itself off with the TV! Lol
I'm having an issue with turning it back on. I watch tv turn it off and the smart box shuts down and there's a red light. When i hit the power button on the remote the box wont come back on I have to unplug it and plug it back on to get it back on. Any idea why or how to fix it?
Try to update it. Settings, about, system update . The red light should disappear when you turn it off

Depends on how you use it. It couldn't hurt, because most of the apps play movies a little less than legally. (Though you are only streaming, not downloading or uploading anything, so it is a bit of a grey area. Not sure on the actual laws on that.)
My super box pauses while watching movie I have to turn it off n on

Try to unpair it and then pair it gain. Otherwise, contact Superbox for a solution

Are you having this issue after turning off the tv first? Apparently the box goes into sleep mode if you turn off the tv before turning off the box. When the box is in sleep mode, you have to plug and uplug it. This seems like such a major design flaw am I missing something??
Yes it happens to mine when the TV is powered off before the Superbox.
Its there low end model for 2024 if u have great network it run great
Wow, 359 dollars. I have been using IPTV for 6 years. I only pay 79 dollars every 2 years. 359 is crazy.
