I pause right now and reflect on how God sustains our lives. For you and I to live this day, God does not have to "take" our life; all He has to do is stop giving it, sustaining it. Each day that we live is a gift from Him; His mercies are new every morning; because of this mercy, we are not consumed. This truth should compel us to surrender every aspect of that gift to Him, confident that if He allows a challenge or adversity to happen, He MUST have a better plan.
