The verses had 2 parts One with the beat, then one slow... The transition between the 2 was empty (and the verses themselves had nothing hooking) making you just wait for the chorus The chorus, pre-chorus was fire and the outro as well... But yeah you don't like the song at first cause you're just waiting for the chorus Anti-fragile's verses were fire (like the lion part was really hooking, I haven't heard the song in a while and I still remember it) and the chorus just killed you So basically, you get used to the verses and you'll be listing to the song or you don't and forget about the song
