Bro the third rapper was rapping godzilla by eminem as a trainee so she's on a whole other level she also sings and is one of the two best dancers in the group her name is Asa 💥
That low note was Rami and that was one of the most BADASS lines ever said in Kpop. Before her Rora sings, "It's our turn now" followed by Rami, "Slowly burn it down while you're asleep". The reason that is such a badass line is that many Koreans talk shit about BabyMonster because they are Blackpink's baby sisters so YG releases their music at midnight Korean time. So those two lines together, "It's our turn now, Slowly burn it down while you're asleep" is absolutely true. They burned down the entire market and their haters while they slept with this song and all we can say is "Sheesh"
@@charleschai776midnight KST is the correct answer, I live in Korea, and all content is always released midnight Korea local time. 1PM EST with the 13 hour time difference. So yes, they are burning it down while you sleep.
7:48 the reason is that YG entertainment (their company) have a lot of hip hop Influence, the CEO of YG was part of a kpop group when he was younger, and he was the rapper and dancer. that's why his company has so many talented rappers and dancers, the company has also their own way to use instruments and make music, that's why their groups looks the same (2NE1, Blackpink, Treasure, Big Bang, Babymonster and more) YG is like the "house of the rappers" 'cause the best rappers always came from there
And producer, Teddy Park, was also in a boy band at YG. As a teen, his family came to the US. When they returned to Korea, Teddy brought his love of Hip-hop back with him. While producing 2NE1 and Blackpink, he used the iconic Roland TR-808 drum machine used by Hip-hop artists in the US. This is where YG's "808 beat" came from!

Rami is the fire girl in the red Riding hoodie, then the elf and her low eerie tone just creeps me out. Her vocal range can do multiple rifts and runs and whistles, dropping low then hitting the whistles with ease.
Yes, 3 rappers...Ahyeon in blue (you said she needed to work on her breath control while rapping to "sway") and Ruka in yellow with the back and forth, and Asa (she did "Look Alive" during training) in the pink and black. That was Rami with the low tone. Sheesh! she's got sick range. they are all sooooo talented. Great reaction Teddy! thank you. Bob from LA
'Sheesh' is interesting! The intro (Rora & Chiquita), Rami's vocals, Asa's rap and the "Tell a friend" part are my favourite parts of the song, but I think I like 'Like That' & 'Monters' (intro) more then 'Sheesh'. The MV visuals with the lyrics are a great combo (the maze in the background & maze piano sheets -> "try to get out", the eye sets, covered eyes -> "all eyes on me", motorbikes on the wall -> "vroom vroom")!! I am looking forward to seeing the whole dance!
its group have 6 vocalist, 4 rapper and 7 dancer guys. There are so talented. All rounder girls are Asa, Chiquita and Ah yeon. Aca is Ace broo. She rap is killing meeeee. ❤ Vocalists are: Rami,Rora,Ah yeon,Chiquita, Pharita and maybe main rapper Asa Rapper are: Asa,Ruka,Ah yeon and yg said Chiquita learning rap. Dancer are: Main dancers Ruka,Asa and Chiquita. Maybe lead dancer Rami,Ah yeon and Rora these girls killing mee broo. My bias Asa and Ah yeon. Maybe Chiquita.
@@TeddyGreyOS Yeah very good energy ! Also, I don't easily like women's voice but here it doesn't sound like they are forcing too much themselves to go higher than their natural tone. I appreciate this fact a lot :)
Rami - biggest range, probably biggest improvement since their trainee days. Pharita - very good control of her high notes that does not hurt the ears. Ruka - fluidity, flow & dancer. Side note, I think she has the most beautiful complexion in this MV. Rora - very good technique, clarity, angelic Chiquita - evoke emo to her singing even though she is very young Asa - speed & clarity Ahyeon - visual, all rounder. All of them are very charming individually. I said all of these despite them being very young and are continually working hard to hone their craft to the next level. My husband does not care about k-pop asked me what is so great about BabyMonster as he saw them in the news today. My reply amazes even me, they are very talented individually, it is a waste that they are all put in a group with so little to shine as each song is chopped into 7. Everyone of them is a star, they could get 2-3 great groups out of these girls or even 7 super stars. I am seldom into k-pop these days other than for NewJeans (their vibes) but BabyMonsters are difficult to ignore with their amazing talents.
Man, onomatopoeia to describe the rap lyrics is FIRE. Also, that makes sense because Sheesh itself is an onomatopoeia. And other reactors saying that the rap didn't make sense. The consistency in the title, the chorus and the rap is subtle, yet in your face at the same time. Thank you for this reaction. Only true artists would know!
you've reacted to their individual black an white performance videos about one year ago, and you said that asa, the rapper, is must have a good rap part on a song.
If you liked Babymonster, you should definitely check out Treasure, their rap line is amazing and one of the rappers (and leader) Hyunsuk also worked on this song. Bona Bona would be great!
A statement that I always agree is "Only YG artist can do their own cover" because they know which member do well in each part and if other artist cover their song it will realy show the different... not that they arent good but more the presence, the style, and the coolness that very different
You can react their another track "Like That" from their mini album, it got like 2000 R&B style, it may not be your cup of tea, but Ruka and ASA rap is still amazing. U will love it. Thanks in advance.
The 3rd rapper Asa, covered Joyner Lucas song and you reacted to her. She got so much potential, sharp crystal clear clean rap. Only few in 5th gen kpop girl groups can rap like her.
I already subbed from before, but if I could, I'd sub again, love your angry/passionate reactions, lol. BabyMonster is awesome and thanks for the support Ruka/Asa/Ahyeon rapline was next level. All seven crushed it. I'm honestly so impressed and blown away by BM. Better than I expected. So happy to finally have all 7 and looking for to them promoting properly now. BabyMon7er has arrived!!!
I wish they would let Asa (third rapper) off her leash once and just let her murder a verse. Ever since she covered godzilla i wanted to hear her go off on a song.
@@cervantesescamilla7775 yea maybe a full rap song where ruka and asa each take a verse and the other girls sing the hook. Maybe even ahyeon could get a verse.
Love your reaction! I agreed with you Baby Monster is at different level. Their vocals and rapping insane. Those who appreciate this song Sheesh can relate because they want to demonstrate their solid vocals and rapping skills. They are well prepared when debut. Love them. Please react to Sheese (Band version) 1 day ago. It was FIRE🔥
Nice reaction. To your observation that the rap is different than other gg raps, and wondering about the difference is: 1) the three part rap section is longer than the 8 bars conventionally thrown into a non-rap song, which is common in kpop. 2) the genuine fierceness of it - what we want to see in good raps, and 3) I think overall as a group, the rap line is better than the others out there - the flow is more unique and appealing. (I can't prove that last point because I don't know the other rap lines well enough, but that's my impression.) I'd like to hear what others think.
Been waiting impatiently patient for your reaction. You are the realest most down to earth reactor that just truly loves music and as such I love watching your reactions. The honesty you give is just fun!!!!!
yg will never give into the trends in music and will always stay true to themselves unlike most companies and kpop groups these days 🤐, and i commend yg for that. they do what they do best.
They have a similar sound to black pink but hit differently due to their layers, it’s refined. They have a nice balance between being hard but also on point. Not pushing the rap to be crazy aggressive and even the visuals are amazing but not flashy. Rappers are spitting but not spewing or punching you in the face with aggressionand singers are doing their thing without overreaching. Talent. They have this badass Jessi vibe, but then angelic vulnerability. Like in stuck in the middle. They maybe my new fave GG
tell me who did'nt appreciate Asa? i don't know why, so many Asa fans did'nt respect other member even video when pharita singing, so many spam comment about Asa, and there is no Asa there haha kinda annoying.

The third one is the main rapper, check her look alive remix cover, Godzilla cover, she is also best dancer along with ruka, vocalist songwriter, composer ,Ace..
"Shoutout to Korea for the ear knowledge" 😭😭😭 - song is so good it's making you angry? I love that omgosh 😂 - It's just the YG energy of this girl group 🤭💕 - trying to explain the importance of Ruka, Ahyeon and then Asa's order is so real 🤣 - I called out the onomatopoeias in the rap too but man, it just still works?! - I was looking forward to your reaction because I wanted to know what someone who likes rap thinks. Real hype tbh
He Teddy, if you like, you can react to their live performance on It's Live by Baby Monster. I think their live is way better than the music video. FYI, It's Live provides a lot of live stages.

Yes in kpop you have many many great rapper,s probably many of these girls are better than most "hardcore" rapper in my country;P Starting with 2nd gen: Yezi - Fiestar Hana - Secret Lime - Hellovenus Jiyoon - 4minute Minju, Kemy - A.Kor LE - EXID Soyeon - (G)I-dle Dami - Dreamcatcher EXY - WJSN Moonbyul - Mamamoo Hyeran - Brave girls Lisa - Black Pink Hyungeun - Peace Satbyeol - Pixy Keena - Fifty Fifty Julie - Kiss of life Asa, Ruka - Babymonster Sunhye - Young Posse...........
It hits different because the rap line is just wayyyyy better in this group. They're actual talented rappers, vs. vocalist given the title of rapper by a company who then try their hand at cosplaying rappers. These three are actually top tier!! Even other members like Chiquita have studied rap!! That's why it just hits different with them!!

Vocalists are: Rami,Rora,Ah yeon,Chiquita, Pharita and maybe main rapper Asa
Rapper are: Asa,Ruka,Ah yeon and yg said Chiquita learning rap.
Dancer are: Main dancers Ruka,Asa and Chiquita. Maybe lead dancer Rami,Ah yeon and Rora
these girls killing mee broo. My bias Asa and Ah yeon. Maybe Chiquita.
Sheesh !! Discovered the song with you ahah.
Hope you're well Teddy !
I’m good thank you Zo, I hope you’re well too! 🙏
and this one was good right?! Lotta good energy!
@@TeddyGreyOS Yeah very good energy ! Also, I don't easily like women's voice but here it doesn't sound like they are forcing too much themselves to go higher than their natural tone. I appreciate this fact a lot :)
RAPP RUKA ALWAYS KILLED
Rami - biggest range, probably biggest improvement since their trainee days.
Pharita - very good control of her high notes that does not hurt the ears.
Ruka - fluidity, flow & dancer. Side note, I think she has the most beautiful complexion in this MV.
Rora - very good technique, clarity, angelic
Chiquita - evoke emo to her singing even though she is very young
Asa - speed & clarity
Ahyeon - visual, all rounder.
This is the purest reaction I've ever watched! Only shows the genuine interest in music itself. Listen to their Like That. Rap there is quite good too
Man, onomatopoeia to describe the rap lyrics is FIRE.
You're the best reactor ever
i wish i could like this comment twice
Asa and ruka slayyyy this era ❤❤
A statement that I always agree is "Only YG artist can do their own cover" because they know which member do well in each part and if other artist cover their song it will realy show the different... not that they arent good but more the presence, the style, and the coolness that very different
i was waiting for this ❤❤❤
You can react their another track "Like That" from their mini album, it got like 2000 R&B style, it may not be your cup of tea, but Ruka and ASA rap is still amazing. U will love it. Thanks in advance.
The 3rd rapper Asa, covered Joyner Lucas song and you reacted to her. She got so much potential, sharp crystal clear clean rap. Only few in 5th gen kpop girl groups can rap like her.
You can watch all there last evaluation videos as well where you get to see them come together as a group but see each of them doing there own thing.
Most genuine and passionate reaction I've ever seen. You got a new sub bro
RUKA OMG SWAG
You should react to Like that , it was gifted by charlie puth to them cuz ahyeon covered his song
Please❣️
I already subbed from before, but if I could, I'd sub again, love your angry/passionate reactions, lol. BabyMonster is awesome and thanks for the support
Ruka/Asa/Ahyeon rapline was next level.
Lo mismo digo quiero un verso largo de asa 😢
@@cervantesescamilla7775 Incluso una canción entera de rap con ruka y asa sería buena. tal vez uno dias. (Excuse my bad spanish)
@@cervantesescamilla7775 yea maybe a full rap song where ruka and asa each take a verse and the other girls sing the hook. Maybe even ahyeon could get a verse.
BRO RAMI'S LAST PART WITH THAT DEEP TONE GIVES ME CHILLS
I'm hooked on your reactions. Sooo good!
I LOVE when people actually pay actually pay attention in a reaction
THEY SLAYED IT FOR SURE, AND THE DEBUT OF YEAR!! 🔥👏🏻
Nice reaction.
To your observation that the rap is different than other gg raps, and wondering about the difference is:
1) the three part rap section is longer than the 8 bars conventionally thrown into a non-rap song, which is common in kpop. 2) the genuine fierceness of it - what we want to see in good raps, and 3) I think overall as a group, the rap line is better than the others out there - the flow is more unique and appealing. (I can't prove that last point because I don't know the other rap lines well enough, but that's my impression.)
I'd like to hear what others think.
may i know what does gg means?
@@Carboliveslegit girl group = gg (actually, most so-called girl groups are women)
When making a music video YG doesn't used green screen bro so the production set was very 🔥
Ruka🔥🔥❤️❤️
Been waiting impatiently patient for your reaction. You are the realest most down to earth reactor that just truly loves music and as such I love watching your reactions. The honesty you give is just fun!!!!!
Check out the ITs Live version of Sheeh😊😊their live Vocals are crazy❤❤❤
yg will never give into the trends in music and will always stay true to themselves unlike most companies and kpop groups these days 🤐, and i commend yg for that. they do what they do best.
Only people who understand rap can appreciate Asa with his very few parts and usually other people miss it
tell me who did'nt appreciate Asa?
i don't know why, so many Asa fans did'nt respect other member
even video when pharita singing, so many spam comment about Asa, and there is no Asa there haha
kinda annoying.
Asaaa and Pharitaa❤❤❤
it hits different because they KNOW they've got the sauce and the confidence to flaunt it
A PSA, yep 😂❤
Who would say chiquita is just 15 with those facial expressions.
You need to react to their live performance of this if you haven't seen it already! It's so good.
Luv Ur React !! ขอนอกเรื่อง กล่องที่มีรูปยักษ์นั่นคืออะไรเหรอครับ What is that box with the giant picture on it?
it’s to represent Sabaidee Festival! It’s a huge South East Asian celebration in Prado, California coming up this June! 🤎
Use the code “TEDDY” at the checkout for a surprise!
Semua warga Asing, Internasional sepakat Debut BabyMonster baik MV, lagu, Vocal, dance, Rap Visual memukau semua. Hanya Knetz yang mengatakan Hal yang berbeda😅😅😅.
Babymonster wowwww
They are MONSTERS!😍😍
Please react to “like that”I know for sure you will love it ❤
This song should be ok title track , I'm addicted to this song awesome 🔥
I love how international people are are to notice the talent of babymonster while koreans are sleeping over them.
Asa is a beast. The best female rapper of 5th gen if we gotta be honest 🥰
You should react to Batter Up, Like That and Forever. It will prove my point of her being the best female rapper of her generation 🩷
I lost count how many times I said sheesh during this performance😂😂😂
Man I haven’t watched a teddy video in so long I forgot how much he goes back 🫠
I love rap but I am NOT an expert but the first two are almost identical in how they cadence. Reaction and even attitude. The third is much more confident. More bold. She hits the words. Let me know what you think...
The third one is the main rapper, check her look alive remix cover, Godzilla cover, she is also best dancer along with ruka, vocalist songwriter, composer ,Ace..
"Shoutout to Korea for the ear knowledge" 😭😭😭
- song is so good it's making you angry? I love that omgosh 😂
- It's just the YG energy of this girl group 🤭💕
- trying to explain the importance of Ruka, Ahyeon and then Asa's order is so real 🤣
- I called out the onomatopoeias in the rap too but man, it just still works?!
- I was looking forward to your reaction because I wanted to know what someone who likes rap thinks. Real hype tbh
8:49 third one is Asa our main rapper
I don't know if you remember but Asa (the third rapper with the pigtails) did the Joyner Lucas Remix cover. She's so good!
You should react to BABYMONSTER - "SHEESH" Band LIVE Concert [it's Live]. They performed live and they totally killed it 😭👌❤️🔥
YES, the first was ruka ,then ahyeon, followed by the queen Asa.
He Teddy, if you like, you can react to their live performance on It's Live by Baby Monster.
I think their live is way better than the music video.
FYI, It's Live provides a lot of live stages.
Love your reactions! Please please react to Taylor Swift Bad Blood..Thank you!
Te dejo un gran like por la mejor reacción que he visto hasta ahora
The way he repeated Rami's part so many times lolol- as he should tho
This was the first song in there first mini album that came out april 1st.n
Hi Teddy, the first time I knew your channel was through this video then I started watching other reaction videos on your channel.. I like your reactions more than other youtubers.. I hope you can make one for "Hanryang" by Min Kyung Hoon & Kim Hee Chul feat. BIBI
Thank you
Finally someone who gets it like I do
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Still waitiing a "like that" react 😭😭😭😭
Please react to their B side - Like that. Love how you reacted to Baby Monster btw.
Next reaction to b-side song "Like That"

TeddyGrey king of the rewind 😂🤌
Couldn’t agree more😂😂😂
And that’s kindda why I come back again and again lol
I really love his reaction on Asa’s look alive where he had to replay 5+ times seriously 😆😆😆
Да! Обожаю его перемотки 😆💕

Jiyoon - 4minute
Minju, Kemy - A.Kor
LE - EXID
Soyeon - (G)I-dle
Dami - Dreamcatcher
EXY - WJSN

you must react their live video, they're sing and rap very well
React to Babymonster Stuck in the middle,Like that and Forever please you'll love them
Love you vidéo ! Nice!
Love Babymonster 😊
iam baemon fans, and feel like wanna cry watch your reaction. thankyouuuuuuuu
REACT TO BABYMONSTER :
1. LIKE THAT
2. FOREVER
❤
It hits different because the rap line is just wayyyyy better in this group. They're actual talented rappers, vs. vocalist given the title of rapper by a company who then try their hand at cosplaying rappers. These three are actually top tier!! Even other members like Chiquita have studied rap!! That's why it just hits different with them!!
ahahahahah i knew it! reaaaally hope that YG will listen to you ;-)
Please react to babymonster forever ❤
Song ''បេះដូងរាជសី'' 🤍🤍🤍 🇰🇭🇰🇭🇰🇭🙏🏻🙏🏻
Reaction baby Monster "Forever"
ASA’s clarity in rapping is just amazing. I rarely liked rap line but baemon redefined my likessss ; esp ASA and RUKA! Sheesh was their ERA! I mean, you know what I mean. 😊
Love your sincere reaction ❤
ASA IS NATIONAL RAP SLAYER, HER FLOW IS SO PURE
Please react to like that by babymonster
Not sure if you did the other song they came out with… “Like That” is such a fire song!!🔥🔥🔥
