Susie needs to move back to Seattle. We just escaped from the Seattle area to Boise, and we're so glad we did. Seattle used to be great in the early 1990's and prior, but now it's a pit.
Praying I can make my way there permanently once I’m able to retire. I’m looking for peace and quiet, particularly when it comes to neighbors. I’ve had more than enough of the constant booms coming from my neighbors backyards for hours on end, every day. My guess is that is an extreme rarity in Idaho.
Yes, I did! I was debating about including them in this video, but since I talk about the lovely Idaho winters in other videos, I decided to leave them out.
If your political ideology didn't ruin your last state, then you won't ruin this beautiful state. Since people have swamped into the Boise region from the coast, drug use and crime have skyrocketed. Our family fled Communism and I've lived in a few countries and several states before moving here. It's not perfect, but Idaho is a great place to live if you love freedom. We bought our 3,200 sq foot luxury house for $300k on 4 acres in 2011. It's valued at over $700k now. We live 35 minutes south of Boise.
@@LivingLifeinEagleIdaho Yup. Glad out kids also bought at pretty good prices. We had a construction spurt in my community. 40 lots, 5 homes when we got here, but 10 new construction in the past 6 years. 25 lots still vacant. There's Palm Estates just north of us with over 60 lots, no houses yet, and a huge community being built on the Elmore/Ada border, way over 200 lots there.
Watch this video next if you want to learn more about living in Eagle, Idaho!

Thanks 👍
Suzie's comments make me so excited to move to the CDA area! We're a conservative family in a liberal town and we are ready to go!
HAHAH! Suzie was quite the character. It sounds like you'll love CDA!
100 percent she should move back.
Agreed! She would be way happier.
Sounds like a slice of heaven !!!
Oh It is! :)

Idaho is an absolutely fantastic place to retire. There are tons of peaceful neighborhoods here. I'm sure you will love it!
You neglected to cover Idaho WINTER☃🌨🎐

I'd be willing to bet Suzzie has no problem cracking her liberal jokes in Seattle assuming everyone is in agreement with her. 😂
I live in california, I never feel real american in here, I don't want to move out, because all my family is here😒😒😒
She probably would be happier in Venezuela.
It's strange to hear because i heard that CDA is very liberal.
Tell Susie I was going to move to Russia but found out that they spoke Russian and changed my mind. The nerve of them.

All good points! Im glad you are liking Idaho, it is truly amazing how much homes prices have gone up over the last 15ish years.
