with all those dried leaves on the ground around the kiln, and all the burning pieces flying around, it's sure a good thing they have a fire extinguisher close by...Don't see one? I don't either....

man könnte Friedemann stundenlang zuhören wenn er über Raku erzählt - also nichts wie hin und ihn mal besuchen wenn er wieder "brennt"
In USA, we are not allowed to use raku ceramic for dinning products due to the metalic substance in the glaze. Is it ok in Germany?
What kind of shelf are you using? Some places say to use raku shelf not for electric

This is in Germany. Everything is damp. Still a good idea to have a fire extinguisher, but it's really not terribly worrisome.
