No fuel cutting, no nothing, just keep pumping stuff there, causes flame inside the engine and blows smokes out. dude that had a giant glider that deployed immediately, like, at an instant. The plane was jagging around like crazy, which means the pilots are just stupid and they can't deal with a single engine on a B747 flaming out and they should be fired. 45° approach angle. Literally why. That's actually lethal at any speed possible that a plane needs to land. Not even a fighter jet can land at 45° without slamming down like an airdrop. For the 45° angle, there is too much momentum and stress for the landing gears to hold in, it ran through the grass and onto paved surfaces fine. How? This anime animation does a great job that pilot in a boeing 747 is mostly likely doing emergency landing as qantas flight 32,air canada flight 143 and u.s airways flight 1549.the animation is look like the real life moment style

Its the same series that have an entire terrorist cell worth of cargo ship sails straight into Marina Bay in Singapore, and have the climax of the movie with the ship on top of the Marina Bay Sands, being used as actual ship and sliding down the building. That burning heavy 747 would have dug I to the muddy ground around the airport when it taxied off the runway and with its high gross weight and speed being that they didnt dump fuel a gear leg or two might have fractured. 2. The pilots would have extinguished the engine fire before even landing the 747-400 has enough fire suppression to go around . 3. Striking that pan am 74 would have prob cough the wing ablaze since the wing was prob full of fuel vapor or fuel and would have ignighted soon as the wing contorted . 4. The 747 crew would have prob prompted to use like autobrakes setting 4 on the 747 and max reverse thrust to stop on the runway so the pax could evacuate the aircraft if fire suppression wasnt enough so there is a possibility of survival . All n all this gets a 4/10 for realism. No 747 manures that easily with an engine missing . And with prob a full load of fuel n pax .
