I listen to this often. It is like a tradition. I can't believe it has been this long. And everytime I am done with the 9 minutes or so of this soundtrack, I just have a huge wave of nostalgia and a stream of tears. Thanks to showing a then tired young boy at that time what hope, strength, growth and endurance mean.
i myself experienced most awesome and epic solo adventures with MoP expansion.hardcore gamers may say "it sucks" but atmosphere and emotion within zones was epic. i realy miss you Mists Of Pandaria...
Everyone that said it sucked was influenced by the pandas theme once we got there it was amazing probably the best expansion In the game I was one of skeptical guys but the second I landed there and started questing I loved it. I miss mop more than any other expansion and I started playing in tbc played all expansions to date and will play df
This is a theme that powers my soul. It allows me to ride with Yu'lon, enables my heart to soar with Chi-Ji, makes me feel Xuen's strength, and take solace in Niuzao's fortitude. It's so sad, majestic, beautiful and hopeful. "Fear seeks to diminish you. Instead, let it reveal you" - Niuzao, the Black Ox. "Hope is the sun behind a stormy sky. Ever in the heart, but veiled to the eye" - Chi-Ji, the Red Crane. "The only opponent is yourself" - Xuen, the White Tiger. "There is but one certainty - every end marks a new beginning" - Yu'lon, the Jade Serpent.
I have listened to this hundreds, perhaps it might be in the thousand now, I spent hours in this zone too - I think it's one of the most beautiful pieces of music, I hope I'll listen again when I'm very old, it makes the world make sense somehow, and I'm thankful for someone able to make music like this that I could never do myself.
I heard this track the first time, when i was questing in the valley of eternal blossoms. It was raining, and i was flying on my golden Sky serpent, when the peak of the track played , and in exactly that moment the rain stopped and the son shone. it was amazing
I would agree, if it wasn't for the fact that I have trouble finding originality. Seriously, you applause the lore, which is in fact, a patchwork of pretty much everything else than original content.
Yavuz Selim Han Osmanoglu Their only argument is that mop is "kung fu panda" and therefore, childish... Except WoW is for 13 year olds, so that argument is kind of moot.
Im currently studying for the Chinese history for tomorrow's test and the MoP OSTs are soo fucking immersive Blizzard, I fucking love your osts and bgms and theme songs and everything
WotLK had some great tracks and all (howling fjord, sholazar, icc, storm peaks and more) and I loved the expansion itself, but MoP soundtrack is just perfect in my opinion, the best in whole game I'd say. Blizzard's composers just outdid themselves. They have always delivered sensational music, but this time, they put the bar very, VERY high.
4:38, oh my word, the most emotionally and atmospherically charged song in Mists of Pandaria, right up there with The Burning Crusade's Nagrand nighttime suite.
i hope they ll rebuild valley of the blossoms in some future patch or addon, i mean the rebuilt stormwind after deathwings attack, so why not this? giving it back its old beauty and music score, that would be so awesome.
They've done it in the "Visions of N'Zoth" patch)) - though now the Valley is constantly being invaded by all kinds of eldritch horrors, and mantid, and mogu...
far by now all MOP content has the best music. wotlk had also but only on ICC and some northrend areas. but in pandaria the musics are outstanding everywhere. This one for example gives such a nice nostalgia to the game
Plus people who play wow aren't nerds and most of us wow players only play it once or twice a week so technically we don't waste our lives. So you better be careful what you say!
Boys i do have a question: i'm a big warcraft fan but after warcraft 3 i couldn't have played any wow game. But i was a big fan. Then i saw the trailer for the beginning, the first movie it is said in the warcraft universum which began with warcraft 1. so my question is: are they going to settle a warcraft cinematic universe? If so: i really do hope they'll add thiiiiiisss music into the pandaria movie man.
well, looks like it will be another universe, theres parts that differs, the game/novels from the movie, things that didnt not happen or happened in other way, still.., they stick to the novels a lot, more than any other videogame or comic movie to the original version. and looks like for pandaria movie wont come soon, remember all the things that must happen, the second war, third, frozen throne, wow expansions and lore novels...
Im looking for the song that plays when you enter or stay in the Cradle of Chi Ji island, cant seem to find it in the soundtracks, any help would be appreciated, thanks
Well, only 14likes but 1862 wievs...i bet that those 1862 wievs are from us, those, who gave those 14likes :))) still returning to listen to this awesome piece of work
I tend to imagine things when I listen to music. The variation at 4:35 is my favourite. I imagine Emperor Shaohao atop the Terrace of Endless Spring, zen meditating or whatever; transcending to the cosmos before he vanishes and unleashes the mist that envelops Pandaria and saves it from the Sundering.
^^Not everyone has the money for an all-good-computer, but they want to play wow as well. If you turn the music off, the game can run faster, which is essential in a raid. I had this problem as well, but I still love the soundtrack. That's the reason, I turned it off, and I might not be the only one.
All of the expansions and the original World of Warcraft game have had some rather brilliant soundtracks. For me the best experience I have ever had in a game was back at launch when I first started. I had experienced and enjoyed Warcraft 3 and the TfT expansion as the night elves and as such when I started I originally made a male Night Elf. Walking into darnassus and seeing the ancient of lore and war beside the first part of the city was fantastic. I have enjoyed the music to all the expansions but alas I have worn tired. WoD has me hopeful but Panderia was the last expansion for me. While WoW has breath in her yet I see her dead for one simple reason. The urge to make money. This alone created a situation where Blizzard began adding irrelevant experiences such as pet battles and purchased mounts and while I had several pets and 2 of the paid mounts I wish they would make content that matches this music in scope and scale. I really do hope blizzards Project Titan wasnt Hearthstone or that other game and hope that they do create a better IP to show the talent they have in all aspects of game design.
Side note I do wish to meet Neil Acree and the other members of the sound team. They did well in all of blizzards games in particular SC2 for the music and other assets they created.
They should have made separate game. I would played it. I came in Wow than Mists of Pandaria came and I goed away than it was finished. ( I liked the the art the sky. The crazy rabbits! It was nice XD Specialy rabbits!
I totally agree. What really annoys me is when I'm trying to find a RUclips video of some WoW gameplay, and someone's put their god-awful punk-metal music over the top of it. Fucking teenagers.
This expansion has the most beautiful soundtrack

Yavuz Selim Han Osmanoglu Their only argument is that mop is "kung fu panda" and therefore, childish...
Except WoW is for 13 year olds, so that argument is kind of moot.

6:00 is just epic, gives me chills every time!
I firmly agree. Best by far. Pandaria is the only place i actually listen to all the music.
They have done some awesome work with the music
love this heart racing blood pumping and calming soothing different types of music in pandaria soundtracks, very impressive
WotLK had some great tracks and all (howling fjord, sholazar, icc, storm peaks and more) and I loved the expansion itself, but MoP soundtrack is just perfect in my opinion, the best in whole game I'd say. 4:38, oh my word, the most emotionally and atmospherically charged song in Mists of Pandaria, right up there with The Burning Crusade's Nagrand nighttime suite.
Best xpacs wrath, tbc and mop ambience, rich lore and ambience wise.
Beautiful! One of my favorite MoP soundtracks.
i hope they ll rebuild valley of the blossoms in some future patch or addon, i mean the rebuilt stormwind after deathwings attack, so why not this? giving it back its old beauty and music score, that would be so awesome.
Malefizia I hope so too!
They've done it in the "Visions of N'Zoth" patch)) - though now the Valley is constantly being invaded by all kinds of eldritch horrors, and mantid, and mogu...
Ur wish has come true
"Strength is far more than simple physical prowess."
Absolutely amazing. Easily one of my favorite WoW soundtracks.
i haven't got word for this... so beautiful... epic... amazing...
far by now all MOP content has the best music. wotlk had also but only on ICC and some northrend areas. but in pandaria the musics are outstanding everywhere. This one for example gives such a nice nostalgia to the game
8:35 feels so heroic... also
It's a shame the iTunes album doesn't have the stuff from 5:27 on...why didn't they include more than 20 short tracks on iTunes? :(
Plus people who play wow aren't nerds and most of us wow players only play it once or twice a week so technically we don't waste our lives. So you better be careful what you say!
Full body goosebumps starting at 5:27
Man, Eastern-themed music is so appealing.

worst movie ever
The Vale of Eternal Blossoms, and I *think* (SPOILER ALERT) when Yu'lon takes you on the tour around Serpent's Heart late in Jade Forest questing.
Im looking for the song that plays when you enter or stay in the Cradle of Chi Ji island, cant seem to find it in the soundtracks, any help would be appreciated, thanks
There is actually an element of the music from Halo that's really cool

I tend to imagine things when I listen to music.

That line sounds a little creepy out of context.
and to think people actually play without the music on, or they use their own music. such a waste, bizzard makes amazing music!

Retrospective moment - Draenor sucked, Legion rescued the franchise, project Titan was Overwatch, and never will WoW sound like in Pandaria.
They should have made separate game. I would played it. I came in Wow than Mists of Pandaria came and I goed away than it was finished. ( I liked the the art the sky. The crazy rabbits! It was nice XD Specialy rabbits!
