I was crafting armor and needed cash, so I found myself stopping by local villages and haggling for monster hunting work. This game really makes you FEEL like a witcher
I hope they go harder with this in the future game I want the hard mode to almost feel like a survival experience, Geralt or some other witcher said something along the lines of "in this world a Witcher can go from predator to prey in seconds" and I want THAT feeling, not just coming upon a spawn point and spamming swallow and thunderbolt
Don't sell expensive swords. Most of them contain at least one or two bars of dwimeryte. It's a very precious metal and expensive. For one sword that you dismental you get one bar and it cost you 300 gold. One bar is 1.400 or sth. and later you need this metal for every piece of armour and weapon
Glowing Dimeritium Ingots and Plates is what is needed. You can make them using raw materials like Hunk of Nickel and Copper, Wax etc. The real hassle is the oricachalum ingots. Saving dimeritium and keeping them in stock is smart play. Or you'll be forced to spend a lot of time dimantling and assembling raw materials. Luckily, if you do every unmarked encounter in Toussaint, you'll have enough of everything.

As much as we joke about it, I find either romance options really good. I always go for Yennefer, but that doesn't mean I don't feel bad for Triss. They made her a lot more likable than how she was in 1 and 2.
Zanny if you ever need a three Zanny or two Zanny game, I recommend Greedfall. The combat is somewhere between Witcher and Dark souls with fun weapons. And there are around 12 or endings depending on your actions. You're pretty much a diplomat with a sword or Glock. My personal favorite boss fight was the final one.
On my first playthrough I explored EVERYTHING. Every point of interest in even skelliges waters. I hated myself but I am a completionist so the torture was welcome and the stuff you find is absolutely awesome and makes the whole game feel so fleshed out and fun.

If you wanna turn on level scaling for skellge, go ahead but turn it off for yen’s quest battle with the jinn because level scaling makes it dark souls level hard
Don't quote me on that but I think its fixed in the next gen version. But if not its important to also note the rats in the sewers during one of the questlines with triss in novigrad.
Zanny, the best part is the optional stuff. Like going out to the big ass tree on the map that isn't the dryad and fighting an overleveled leshen or following the mountains until you find drakes and wyverns.
In regards to the DLC, Hearts of Stone is probably best done before you finish the main quest, but can be done just fine afterwards. Blood and Wine is definitely supposed to be played last, however.

TW3 is one of the all time best games but i still think cyberpunk side content is unmatched the only blemish is ncpd scanners getting repetitive but even then doing a couple inbetween other missions and gigs actually keeps the game more engaging and refreshing, but the actual side missions are amazing in variety you go from performing a concert to deciding the fate of ai 'children' its insane
One thing to keep in mind with swords. Keep the ones that ignore armor or whatever it's called. I was using this one sword for a 3rd of the game because it ignored so much armor, that the lower attack didn't even matter. I think the sword was maybe 10 levels below my character level before it became obsolete.
Idk I don't think there are enough numbers on the screen. I think CDPR could take some pointers from the new Suicide Squad. Also, what if you forget how to melee? You'll have to go all the way back to the settings menu. That's just ridiculous you know?

The only Rune stones you need are The Fire and Poison for the swords and the Quen glyphs for Armor, sell everything else, they bring a lot of money. Equip Fire Runes on the Steel sword and Poison Runes on the Silver sword.

I didn’t bother with the ? First play through. It was hard having money and resources. My 100% play through made me hate myself so much. If I did it all the first time i would have a lot of money and resources. Also I have did every side mission and cleared all maps except Skellige the underwater loot is so frustrating.
Today I spent time with my little sister by doing side content for witcher. I just started. So we cleared a camp in Velen, burned 3 piles of bodies and accepted a contract for some monster which turned out to be fucking elves. Also my sister is 8 and enjoyed saying "run run run" while I fought two bears. And I was like "nah, id win"

Imagine if they made cyberpunk as long as the witcher… cd directly said they wouldn’t make cyber like the witcher length wise so they could make the game more dense and I get that but it would be so awesome to just have an epic long story with literally hundreds of top tier side missions. I like the feeling of being OP when you fight against other humans, because clearly a Witcher could take on multiple normal people at the same time. Even with the monsters technically a silver sword through a griffins face would one shot kill it, so while I like the monster fights to be a little harder I still think you one shotting everything makes the game feel much more real
Guy who says it's already cheating clearly didn't play Witcher 2, where Triss is the main girl so that makes Geralt's relationship with her closer in chronology than his with Yenn.
in my opinion, this game is way better on NG+, because you can really use all the abilities to their fullest. At the very least, this is the only game that felt really different the second time around. dank souls ng+ literally felt the same to me but with bigger numbers and no reason to explore. idk, it makes sense in my head anyway

Not only did I clear the pints of interest, I made it a point to try crossing out of the world map. "Only devils play here!"
My only complaint about Ghost of Tsushima. NPCs are just standing still in cutscenes, or just waitint for you.

Dark is an amazing show and you don't have to worry about it being discontinued because it's finished and the story is complete

I like the feeling of being OP when you fight against other humans, because clearly a Witcher could take on multiple normal people at the same time. Even with the monsters technically a silver sword through a griffins face would one shot kill it, so while I like the monster fights to be a little harder I still think you one shotting everything makes the game feel much more real
Guy who says it's already cheating clearly didn't play Witcher 2, where Triss is the main girl so that makes Geralt's relationship with her closer in chronology than his with Yenn.
in my opinion, this game is way better on NG+, because you can really use all the abilities to their fullest.
At the very least, this is the only game that felt really different the second time around.

Also he should do Heart of Stone DLC before going to skellige it doesn't spoil anything but adds more to the main story
