Alot of streamers want to figure stuff out for themselves and don't want to just be handheld by their chat. It can be frustrating, sure, but you tuned in to watch them play their way. If you want it played a specific way you should play it yourself instead.

Here’s what you need to know. -press and hold r1 to pull up a communication wheel. Press r1 to mark areas. -press and hold the reload button to pull up the different setting for your gun, like fire rate, scope zoom, ammo count and burst/full auto and single fire for some guns.

I don’t know if this was written somewhere in the comments, but you can change the mode when aiming to a first-person view. This helps you shoot even more accurately while adding even more immersion and realism. (in my opinion) Look in the settings, on PC it switches when aiming by clicking the mouse wheel by default - I don’t know how to switch it on a gamepad. It is also possible to customize the weapon - sight range (if you set it at 100 meters and shoot close, you will hit above the aiming point), rate of fire, fire mode, turn on/off the flashlight/laser sight, etc. And here’s a nice detail - in this game there is no “firing range” limitation - with good visibility, you can hit anything at any distance from any weapon.
You can run the Punisher/Slugger shotgun, and/or the revolver from the premium warbond, and they have round reload. Goes slower, but you won't waste ammo.
Sony is the publisher for Helldivers 1 and 2 so it will never be on Xbox. The original actually didn't even come to steam until a year later, which was one of the reasons it didnt have a massive playerbase explosion like this one. Releasing them at the same time and having crossplay is genius and I hope a lot of publishers take note at the popularity this one had. Doing a WWZ and making it an epic exclusive killed the playerbase. if you wanna do a live service multiplayer only game, probably don't do timed exclusives and crossplay at a later date.
