It's the day we travel to Lisbon Airport via Bristol Aiport. Come and join us for our journey. We pass over the Severn Bridge and show you the delights of the Airport Tavern Car Parking. We hang out inside Bristol Airport and experience a slightly bumpy flight.
We take the Metro from the Airport to Cais do Sodre.

I'm Imo and she's Izzy. We love getting out and about and exploring South Wales and beyond.
We're a home-schooling/home-educating family of two based in the UK dealing with the daily challenges of managing Izzy's severe, chronic eczema and her education. Our resourcefulness is tested on a daily basis but we'd love to share our little triumphs and discoveries with you as we go along.
I will always write closed captions in UK English for my vlogs, not only to make them more accessible in general but also to create a useful resource for advanced learners of the English language who may enjoy regular bursts of pseudo-immersion in English in a narrative context with the additional benefit of corresponding on-screen text.

My boyfriend does not enjoying the flying experience at all either. I think some people have an innate aversion. It's like a mixture of claustrophobia, fear of heights and lack of control rolled into one. Thanks so much for watching! x
Who had two choc chip muffins?? Never sad to leave the rubbish weather of blighty behind! Snacky bag is such a great idea and very organised. We agree about the Quorn pasties 100%. The way we now deal with turbulence is to imagine we are in a car on a bumpy road - kinda works! Cuddly toy!!!! Nice accommodation guys and a great spot for tea....and holiday beer, cheers to that!

Izzy has some classic lines, love it 😂That Time Out Market looked packed, almost like you'd struggle to get a seat, but we do love those kind of setups with so many different options, no worrying about someone not being catered for 😂Looks like a reasonably smooth travel day was had 😎
Yeah, I bet you two would have loved Time Out. Bit pricey compared to your part of the world, though! I take it you have overcome the 'Great Firewall' issue now?
Unfortunately the "Great Firewall" is an on going issue, we seem to get through once and then somehow they figure it out and manage to plug that hole 😤...so then we have to try find another. Tash's phone seems to be the most reliable at the moment, as she can access twitter and Instagram at least once nearly everyday, but doesn't help me with RUclips 😂
Yeah we can imagine almost everywhere is going to be quite a bit more expensive than Vietnam, we have even felt it here in China, we've been having completely caffeine free days just because it's like US$5 a cup here and not the US$1 we've been paying 😊🤣

got jealous of Izzy eating that lettuce. There's a warning about romaine lettuce here in America and the government recommends not eating any lettuce at all until they give the green light :)
Oh dear - what's the matter with it? Something bacterial? I know salad is a major carrier of e-coli.
That's exactly it, e-coli - the government is trying to figure out how it started and where it came from, till then, no lettuce for anybody
In fact today Izzy is as sick as a pig. The only thing she ate differently from us yesterday was a salad in a cafe. Ironically, she announced at the time that she wanted to have something that was going to be good for her. In retrospect, she'd have been better off with a bar of chocolate. :¬(
Oh no! Sorry to hear that - I doubt if the lettuce here in America is imported to Europe, I would think Europe would have their own farms to grow lettuce. The government has narrowed down the bad lettuce to the ones harvested in California. Poor Izzy, I hope she's feeling better soon...
Thanks, Evan. She's much. much better now. She had two days in bed and barely ate anything followed by a dramatic recovery and gobbling up 48 hours with of food in one sitting. She was ravenous and unstoppable! Lol! She even had a desert and then went back to eat more chicken afterwards! x
Glad you guys had a good safe trip! Bristol airport is nice! It doesn't look as busy as some airports I've been in. How long was the flight? I hate turbulence too! Whenever the turbulence gets especially bad, I just like, fold my arms, shut my eyes and go, oh man, when will this end? LOL
