While the TinkerBell movies may not be of the upmost quality we've come to expect from Disney, TinkerBell and the Legend of the Neverbeast made me BAWL MY EYES FROM MY SKULL. So good. The ending, just everything. A great sendoff since it is the last film in that series. Ps. PLEASE do Princess and the Frog next. It's my #1 fave. Self-empowering princesses for the win!
I am a huge Peter Pan fan, always have been for both the movie and the original story. I'm glad you talked about the hospital owning the rights because I think that's one of the best moves any artist has ever made. That said, can we at least acknowledge the blatant racism in that movie/story? It happened guys, let's not pretend it didn't.
I just stumbled across your channel for the first time and with this video I'm totally hooked! (...I didn't intend for that to be a pun at first, I promise.) Peter Pan has been and always will be one of my favorite stories of all time, and I love when I find other people who share that same opinion. Awesome video!
I actually cried while watching this, I think Peter Pan really does have a special place for Disney fans as it does embody us not wanting to grow up. I love your down to Disness series. 😊
UK doesn’t have medical bills, no matter how much money you have everyone has free healthcare here. The funding goes to the building and the specialised care for children, it’s an amazing hospital. Great vid !
Another great episode. Peter Pan holds a special place in my heart. My aunt took me to see in in 1976, and it was the first movie I remember watching in a non drive-in theater.
Please do lady and the tramp. This movie has the saddest scene of all time, when all the dogs are at the kennel. It's so touching because they are howling a song... a very very sad one. I cry every time I watch it and tears came to my eyes when I remember it...it's so sad (and beautifully made by the animators) :')
"That croc is a dog." - Sarah Snitch, 2015 I knew about hook/mr darling, but I never noticed Nana and crocodile similarities! Peter Pan was, I think, my fav Disney movie as a kid
Your ending thoughts on Peter Pan symbolizing Disney magic as a whole really pulled on my heart strings...and now I'm tearing up a bit. I loved this episode of Down to Disness!! Thank you for this one
Please can you do Robin Hood? I loved this video so much! I turned 17 yesterday and i basically spent my whole day watching Peter Pan and crying cause im nearly an adult
Awesome review. I love this series! I love to hear the history and insights you have found on these movies. We all need little child at heart moments no matter how old we get. Great job, keep it up!
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for the Peter Pan Disness! I Love Disney!!! I am such a fan of you and the Thingamavlogs and had the pleasure of running into Patrick and Keith in May. I missed the rest of you during Diamond celebration opening weekend, and I missed you guys at D23 Expo, so I am looking forward to meeting the rest of you someday
I have to tell you how much I enjoy your videos. I'm binge-watching the Down to Disness series right now :) You are so comfortable in front of the camera, and your quirky passion is so contagious, I just love it. You rock Sarah Snitch!! :)
I was so happy you chose Peter Pan for this month! For next month, will you do an early renaissance movie (Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Little Mermaid)?
Not going to lie your video made me cry! && its soooo true a lot of Disney nerds love movies like Peter Pan because we are scared to grow up && we can relate to the movies && keep our inner children!
The second Peter Pan movie makes me cry because of the dad being away with the army and my dad is in the army (there for away a lot) so that film is pretty much impossible for me to watch without becoming a mess in the first 10 minutes! On the plus side it's very relatable movie...
That was cool idea to leave the rights to a hospital. I've always wonder why people talk about Peter Pan and Wendy Darling being a couple because even though I don't remember actually watching the sequel, I do remember hearing over and over again "I'm her daughter, Jane!" which obviously means that Peter and Wendy do not get together. I also think it's funny how a big symbol of magic and Disney tried to get Wendy killed because of jealousy. I know she changed, but it's still funny. Here are some movies I'd love for you to talk about. Atlantis: The Lost Empire Treasure Planet Oliver & Company Brother Bear Hunchback of Notre Dame
I love this down to Disness videos! I recently went into London and found the Peter Pan statue that has been there since 1912 and was in the Peter Pan adaptation "Hook" :) My favourite Disney film of all time is Lilo and Stitch, I'd love to see a video about the the fluffy, blue alien who's taken over so many Disney fan hearts!
I LOVE the down to disness series one of my faves on all of youtube! I'd love to see one on any of my most loved disney films, Pocahontas, 101 dalmatians or the aristocats!
Awesome vid! I feel like Peter Pan is the most timeless of the old Disney movies, which is why it endures so well. Bit of an odd request: do Oliver and Company. I always loved the movie, and I'm fascinated by it because it was a trial run for the Disney Renaissance but often gets forgotten.
I'd love to see you talk about Hunchback. I've done done a lot of my own research on it but you always seem to know one or two really obscure facts. I also really love the tinker bell movies. The never beast and the secret of the wings ones are my favourite. Xx
Hi Sarah!!!! We are your NEW subby 28,305 lol!!!! Love your videos!!!!! We also follow you and the gang on thingamavlogs! We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Peter Pan and I believe we can TOTALLY IDENTIFY with the not growing up and losing the magic of childhood and Disney
Love your videos so much😍 hope i continue to grow up and be just as much of a disney fan and a child at heart as you are! Thank you for the wonderful videos ☺️
Peter Pan was used to have a much darker tone in its design stylistically. It was done by concept artist David Hall, who also did Alice in Wonderland concepts in 1940s. Thankfully Mary Blair's style elevates the movie to a much brighter, vivid world to be in.
Omg how come i have never seen your channel before i love it!!! and it's true that most of us stay childlike because we love Disney, my friends think i'm weird but Disney is amazing!!!
I'd like to see a Down to Disness video about Pete's Dragon, I know you love it and I feel like there are SO many people out there who don't know of its awesomeness and the rumours of a remake are bumming me out. If not that one then maybe Escape to Witch Mountain or The Watcher in the Woods. These live action movies were my childhood! (And they also scared the crap out of me lol)
3:12 I thought Bambi was originally supposed to be the film to come out after SW. Whatever the case, Pinocchio ended up being the one to come out 2nd. But among the books behind Jiminy Cricket are hints that Walt intended to work next on Alice in Wonderland & Peter Pan, & yes, WWII (& the financial problems that brought) did force him to wait a decade on those.
Awesome video and great series idea! I consider Peter Pan one of my favorites, but there was tons of facts I didn't know, like the reference models. Also, I demand a "Nana in Neverland" spin-off like, right now.
I met Margaret Carrie at comic con when I was about 12 or 13. She is one of the sweetest person I've ever met, and even though she's much older now she is still as beautiful as she was when she filmed Peter Pan.
I'm loving this series! I've never seen a Tinkerbell movie but now I might have to give them a try :) I would love if you did a video on Fantasia, Princess and the Frog, or Fun and Fancy Free.
Do a FROZEN TANGLED OR BRAVE DOWN TO DISNESS can you also do some Disney theories like how some movies are connected AND can you also show hidden Easter eggs in the Disney parks and movies??!!
THANK YOU for telling me which mermaid the model for Tinker Bell voiced! That has been driving me nuts for years! I remember learning that she voiced one of the mermaids, but I never knew which one!
I would love to see a Down to Disness on the Hunchback of Notre Dame! That movie is so underrated! :( It's one of my favorites!
CarmelasDCP That or also Lady and the Tramp :)
I second Hunchback! I love that movie so much, the soundtrack, the animation, the message it's spectacular!
I heart i am a lost boy 😜😜💩💩🙈🙉
Carmela : The Grand Dino I
While the TinkerBell movies may not be of the upmost quality we've come to expect from Disney, TinkerBell and the Legend of the Neverbeast made me BAWL MY EYES FROM MY SKULL. So good. The ending, just everything. A great sendoff since it is the last film in that series.
Ps. PLEASE do Princess and the Frog next. It's my #1 fave. Self-empowering princesses for the win!
Kaity Enockson YES Princess & the Frog
Kaity Enockson I think she should do Pinocchio next.
I'm watching this video and I'm starting to cry! 😭
same here, I was like.. I DONT WANNA GROW UP 😭
lanie guerrero Why? There's nothing sad about this video.
What a cool way to give funding to a hospital!!
***** , I know! I mean, he was very visionary by doing such a thing ^^
I just stumbled across your channel for the first time and with this video I'm totally hooked! (...I didn't intend for that to be a pun at first, I promise.) Peter Pan has been and always will be one of my favorite stories of all time, and I love when I find other people who share that same opinion. Awesome video!
bailey s Aw, yay! Welcome to the party!
+imSarahSnitch Don't Forget So Dear to my Heart.
I actually cried while watching this, I think Peter Pan really does have a special place for Disney fans as it does embody us not wanting to grow up. I love your down to Disness series. 😊

I second the cats! :)
Cheryl Dailey yes, aristocats. :D
UK doesn’t have medical bills, no matter how much money you have everyone has free healthcare here. The funding goes to the building and the specialised care for children, it’s an amazing hospital. Great vid !
What is this? Why am I tearing up watching this video? All you're doing is talking about Peter Pan and my heart just melts! Long live Petah-Pan!
My favourite Down to Disness so far! I love Peter Pan. Pretty much for exactly the reasons you said!
Another great episode. Peter Pan holds a special place in my heart. My aunt took me to see in in 1976, and it was the first movie I remember watching in a non drive-in theater.
Whenever anyone mentions Peter Pan I cry because I can't get across to people how much I freaking love Peter Pan 😂💕😭😭🌸🌸
OLIVER AND COMPANY!! This movie makes me have all the feels...
This is probably my favorite down to Disness thus far. So glad you ended it where you did because I started to tear up as well! ♡°○°♡
Forever wishing that this series wasn't just once a month, because I love them so much❤️ keep up the great work Sarah!!
"That croc is a dog." - Sarah Snitch, 2015
I knew about hook/mr darling, but I never noticed Nana and crocodile similarities!
Peter Pan was, I think, my fav Disney movie as a kid
I completely agree with you on Tinkerbell! I am not her fan, but love her movies. They are very creative with great messages.
I literally love this Down to Disness series
Your ending thoughts on Peter Pan symbolizing Disney magic as a whole really pulled on my heart strings...and now I'm tearing up a bit. I loved this episode of Down to Disness!! Thank you for this one
Tangled! It's my favorite "recent" disney movie. I could watch it over and over and it never gets old and I always cry during the lantern scene.
Toy Story! It has such a rich history and was a GROUND BREAKING MOVIE!
HERCULES.
p.s. I love this series; it's the best; I just bing-watched the whole thing; you rock.
Well I almost cried watching this video. Yep.
Please can you do Robin Hood? I loved this video so much! I turned 17 yesterday and i basically spent my whole day watching Peter Pan and crying cause im nearly an adult

You could have made this 3 times longer and I still would have loved every minute.
Plz do the black cauldron soon? It always resonated with me because it felt so much darker, edgier, but still showed magic and hope

I loved this down to disness. You should do Pocahontas next
Finding Neverland was the saddest movie I've ever seen. I gave up trying not to cry, and tried not to cry out loud. I failed at that, too.
LADY AND THE TRAMP!! ❤️
Please do The Hunchback Of Notre Dame! X
So many Peter Pan feels. 🙌🏼 And I think you should do Princess and the Frog for the next one. 👍🏼
I met Margaret Carrie at comic con when I was about 12 or 13. She is one of the sweetest person I've ever met, and even though she's much older now she is still as beautiful as she was when she filmed Peter Pan.
