Hey Jason & Jaylena, i have never seen an interesting/unique farm gate install. Your wood working talents you put to use to make it work. Certainly made to last. Also sprinkle cheese on top, or throw in some Carmel pieces. Have a great day

Cedar chips will keep the fleas and ticks at bay. So if you could put chips around the tiny house, shower and outdoor kitchen it would not only help you but the dogs as well.
When we first started our journey here in Tennessee, it was the good ole' boys that kept tearing down our fences and gates and finally got to the point that everything we put up they would steal. They wouldn't do it during the day, they would wait and use hunter's hours at 2-4AM while we were sleeping to do it. They'd steal every sign we put up as well. We've learned a lot since 2005. Present day me would be sitting down there waiting for them in the dark with a shotgun. lol. Hoping our new 20 acre property will be better. Get cams so if they try to steal or knock down your stuff you can see them to prosecute.
To me, that's the only deterrent. Youre looking to die if you keep coming back after being shot at. Too far away from people to be playing around with assholes.
I have neighbors that vandalized my property but called the cops on me for working on my property. The cops didn't even want to see the trail cam video proving the vandalizing. Makes me wonder why the cops are protecting them.
Damn straight! Some rock salt in the ass will let them know you mean business, just make sure you have sniper overwatch for safety. Actually some paint gun shots would be a good 1st level response.

The very end.. You two sitting there watching a movie... And your comment..absolutely THE BEST!! Perfect way to end a great video!!!
Jaylena, you are such a beautiful young lady, but your profile is gorgeous. Few people have OUTSIDE beauty from the front AND side, you have both.. Then add your heart to the mix, and you are an amazingly beautiful young lady.
Hope y'all have a great weekend. Look forward to more, Steph..your friends in NC
Hi guys, take the cardbiard off. Keep shaking Jiffy Pop from the beginning to end. .Love your channel!
This video is 1 of my favorites of your videos. Very satisfying. I must have missed the video when you got your heater/stove. Love it. Love your chipper and your gate (with its rustic vibe) looks terrific! Keep encouraged. You're doing fine.
Sweet you got the gate . That should help alot
Nice gate build with what you have!! Steaks look amazing, you deserve a good meal after that day.
Have you shown the inside of your home yet? I’m sure I’ve mentioned it...I can’t wait to see the finished product, I know it’s going to be perfect.!
It was nice to see you working on your projects again. Hope you can get back to the cabin build. I always get a charge out of your ingenuity. Enjoy!
JASON WHERE ARE YOUR SAFETY GLASSES!! Don't make me Walk all the way over there lol. (from Ohio.. no car at the moment.. hahaha) Fence looks so relieving and a peace of mind, Finally, you can sleep well...
Thank you. He was scaring the crap out of me!! I'm in Ohio also and I have a car!!!!!!
Colleen, on your way thru Gary, Indiana, stop by for me to join you and we will both walk over there to Jason's. No car here either.
@@paradiselodge5523 Best Reply EVER !!! =D

@@colleenscottcarmello5103 i will be ready. Just say when.
Great job on the gate, hopefully that keeps the creeps away. The van looks pretty cool at the end with the lights.
That looks so peaceful! Love yall's channel!
You're an inspiration to me I wanted to live the way that you were living for a long long time, you have encouraged me to do what my passion is Thank you so much. I am a big fan of yours and will continue to watch your videos!
Take some of that shavings an melt candle wax in them an make great fire starters.. Only been watching a couple weeks..
The game cameras will catch every possible angle especially if any specific camera is spotted you can always get valuable information from the others in case of catastrophe of whatever level. The fact that you are applying yourself is admirable. Keep up the good work
This was a good video guys, thanks
love watching a team of husband and wife work together.
YES
Good job guys. I feel better about you now. Stay safe.
Rufio cracked me up as you both walked by him time after time. He was just chilling! Gate looks great!
Also some of that little wood would make good to start a fire in the little cabin, in your fireplace, how's your cabin coming along its going to be getting cold in a few months, need to stack up on alot of firewood for the winter season, looking gd jason..
Jaylena is such a jewel. She works so hard right by your side. This is a true partner. Keep posting videos please,
Rachel Vincent my Prayers are with you you city town and the people for surviving that hurricane and yes you all will overcome this in Jesus name Amen!!
The fence looks great. Nice way to use things you have. Dinner looks yummy. Nice and quiet.
YAY I'm so happy to see that gate 👍Great job 👊
So very glad y’all are putting the gate there. I also think a trail camera would be good to post! And glad goats are inside a fence. Can put dogs there to when leave homestead. It’s a shame we have to do that when Off Grid, but we now live in a dangerous world. Blessings!
I’m glad you got a gate up.. hopefully that will stop unwanted visitors..
Great job on the gate!! You two work so well together. I loved when Jason said " hit it like your mad at me" lol. That meal looked VERY tasty! I also laughed hard when the popcorn was popping out. Looked like a nice relaxing evening. That's what life is all about. Greetings from Wisconsin. Karen
is that your pickup truck? why are you carrying multiple logs a long distance instead of using the truck?
So the little old ladies in his sub list think he's "such a hard worker".
@@bradcash8572 I see you have no videos of yourself working, but just talk shit. I also see that you're subscribed to Bumblebee Junction. Hmmm.... I get it now ;) have a great day you loser, and thanks for the extra views as always!
You have inspired me to put up a fence and gate and I don't even have land. 👍
I hope you kids will consider wearing ear protection when around chainsaws and engines. I'm not your mama, but you sure want to be able to hear when you get my age. Please wear ear plugs!
Thats exactly what I mean by doing dumb stuff and some woman said I'm putting h down, so to speak. But a hard head makes a soft ass. You definitely won't miss your hearing or eyesight until they're gone.
@@changeyourenergy708 I have hearing loss from my army days, its like walking around with a pillow over each ear....can hardly hear anything.....
Jedidiah
When I was in the service, we had plenty of ear protection!!!
@@jedidiah5131 you might wanna look into that law suit with 3m about inadequate hearing protection in the military
@@edcurwick8383 So did we.....But it was the danger close situations that have caused many soldiers to lose our hearing. And the continuous barrage of weapons fire during 5 tours in the Middle East....
Love your videos! I finally was able to click on the notification button so I can be alerted to your live chats and videos.
Jason, let me know if you need any welding done. Ive got a portable welder if you want to build a steel gate.
This is Jakes Father n law
I am glad you were able to work with the other neibhors and get a gate up!
Personally i would use small limbs for cooking open fire when all you need is small fire to cook and then burn out quickly.
With your soil need all the compost it can get
The end of the video where you are cooking on the little wood stove is so cool. Definitely a lifestyle of peace. 💜💜💜🙏🙏🙏
Sign your posted sign it will be legal and you get them arrest
Must be signed, stating owner and dated
Rock salt, you throw a few of them... they will learn;)
I never knew you had to sign your posted sign! Guess you learn something everyday
Those signs won't do any good, as that is a Public road and not his road
Isn’t the gate across a public access road and the road leads to other people’s property
You dog cracks me up. Lol! Trespassers are a real problem. I actually installed cameras at our homestead. It's crazy the thing we catch on them. I am counting down the days now. Almost time to move back to the farm.
GOOD JOB THAT WILL SLOW THEM DOWN......
You are really safer now. That gate will stop people from bothering you. Love the chipper. we had one when we first started trimming trees loved it. We got it from Harbor freight also.
Hard working woman
Jaylena...i always think of this song seeing you with Jason...”Stand by your man.” Hoped that it’ll work out between you two! There’s no doubt that you two are made for each other!
Awe burnt popcorn! Too bad the fire was too high and wouldn’t go down! Maybe put it on your grill top you use when cooking. Here is some suggestions for tasty popcorn, buy some red hots too add while hot, or melt and add, also they have those red gooey candy they sell in the theaters ( cant think of the name), and just put one in mouth right before you take a bite of the popcorn! Also sprinkle cheese on top, or throw in some Carmel pieces. Have a great day
I'm so relieved that you two put up that gate and signs on your property.
I build fences for a living. Id come back and replace those nails with lags or head locks in the brace after u replace that rope.
Looks good tho. Like the old west- old rancher style fence. Like it
Just a suggestion for your safety. When editing your videos, please consider blotting out the license plate number....People are nuts and ya never know what they may use to find you. On a side note, I love seeing what y'all are doing and how happy you both seem to be. Jaylena has such a beautiful new glow about her, plus I love seeing all the progress and really cool building ideas! Not many people could get a vision of what raw property could turn into, but y'all did! Keep up the great work!!
When able to get cedar chips, spreading about land will help against pest(not two legged ones you put gate against tho).
Cedar chips will keep the fleas and ticks at bay. So if you could put chips around the tiny house, shower and outdoor kitchen it would not only help you but the dogs as well.
Get A few Ginny hens they eat thicks and other bugs.
I think if you just googled, youtubed or read instructions you would save so many set backs. You guys are certainly very hard works! Its impressive!
Nothing quite like getting hit with a blast of rock salt lol
I have neighbors that vandalized my property but called the cops on me for working on my property.
The cops didn't even want to see the trail cam video proving the vandalizing.
Makes me wonder why the cops are protecting them.
@@normhowes2975 they're probably related. Or too lazy to investigate a complaint/ crime
Damn straight! Some rock salt in the ass will let them know you mean business, just make sure you have sniper overwatch for safety. Actually some paint gun shots would be a good 1st level response.
Your pretty handy with your chain saw so you could knock out a bench and table. I love that your 🐐 goats never even flinched when you were chain sawing. Good job
Make sure you let her know that you love her before she leaves swallow your PRIDE and let her know she needs to know and you as well im not playing with you let her know your going to miss her you watch I not Just taking about physically Only your going to miss her mentally as well PERIODT!!
Gotta love the dog - just lying there and you have to walk around it carrying that heavy log
Ya'll need to build a picnic table together to eat over, just saying, lol!
I wrote almost the exact same thing... wow. Didn't read your comment until after... thats funny great minds think alike.... just sayin...
Yeah the goats can jump up there on top and poop. Probably why he hasnt done that yet.
susan kenney yuck!
I was thinking one of those benches that makes into table , serve two purposes .
Maybe one that folds down (or up) from a wall or fence or couple of trees? Then fold it back up (or down) when finished with the meal.
I'm so loving this !! It's just so beautiful there , what a peaceful life to live you are so very blessed, keep on going I enjoy watching your videos , God bless.
