Oh my goodness! That was amazing! And my favorite spot was that awesome little creek(?) stream(?) that you liked also! And both trails were unique in their own way. Just loved this video so very much! Thank you for taking us along with you! Loved it!
Very nice video. Enjoyed it. I like the nature hikes as I can't get out myself. Liked the "yappin'" part, was that a nod to Wandering Woodsman Cliff? Anyway. That is an awesome park, I always loved it there and fished there many times with my kids. There are some smaller sections of the lake that have some really good fishing, but right from the pier at the main area can be fun too. Maybe you could do videos where you release longer, unedited or less-edited versions of shorter videos. Don't know if that is practical or not or how it effects the channel. Maybe a second channel for the longer versions if it would mess up the main? Just an idea. Glad you are healthy now, JP!
I enjoy your videos 50's/60's I did a lot of camping southwest central NY northern Penn border area . Keep up the video's I don't get out as much any more.
Jay you are definitely most fortunate to have these beautiful trails. And lots of Nature's Carpet. I'm am glad that you've completely over Covid-19. I like the trail and your info as always.
I use walking poles, they help on walking on ice and mud. I hiked a trail the other day and some places the mud was bad, it kept trying to gobble up my boots. It was fun. I usually clean my boots off in clean spring or puddle and they get pretty clean.. penna has so many beautiful places to hike.. love this videos..
I loved this beautiful park. Really like the raw format especially when out in nature. Just seems more peaceful without music and/or sound effects. Lots of beautiful photo ops here and you sure got some great shots. Thanks for taking us along on this gorgeous explore.
What a beautiful park with awesome hiking trails! Gorgeous scenery and landscape, very peaceful! You found some amazing items, that tree with the mushrooms/fungi was so interesting and so was the tree with the knobs, and the crossed "x" trees so cool! Love to hear the sounds of nature too, the stream is so beautiful and always love to see the nature's carpet! Photos are outstanding! Great video JP, it was an awesome explore and very interesting! Thank you so much!
Beautiful trails in these woods and the sound of the water is wonderful. The stone walls are perfect in the natural setting. So glad you paced yourself while hiking thru the trials. I enjoyed your narrative while walking along as well. That knobby tree was different and the tree with mushrooms looked like it may have been struck by lightning. Interesting finds. The icy trails and muddy trails looked dangerous. You captured so many good shots. I thoroughly enjoyed this explore! Great work! Thank you for sharing and having us along!❣💯
hi JP 10.33am 2nd April here yeh loved Silence Absolutely Superb location n ad u wisely said 'not to take things for granted' wellDone ur Blessed brian
just want to say ty for doing these vidoes my husband and i use to go hikeing alot intill 2019 i became sick and now in a wheel chair and my husband at 50 yeats old had to have open heart surgery so now we cant get out to hike any more but thinks to you i can enjoy it with u.
Really cool abandoned building at the junction of frost hollow and snowflake. There is also a couple of old foundations on lakeshore trail which is on the other side of the lake that route 407 passes through.
At 20:00, I looked on the 1939 Penn Pilot photo and wow, the lake isn't even there yet! It looks like you are on farmland. The farmhouse could have still been there today. It is/was right off the shoreline now. I will have to revisit that section to see if any ruins are left. I don't even see the lake on the 1969 photo.
Great video. Glad you are able to hike like this again. The scenery was beautiful. I liked the old walls you found. Someone once cleared that land for farming but nature has now reclaimed it. Pretty awesome when you think about it.
Great trails keep up the good work on your video content next time I get up northeastern Pennsylvania my hometown take a couple trails again thanks for the content God bless my friend
Great nature walk JP, the tree with the big knot on it, that knot is called a "Burl", and eventually will kill the tree, but, the Burl is just a deformity and doesn't really destroy the tree that quickly, and the Burl, when sliced open with a saw will show extravagant growth rings and if you have the means and the time to put into it, can be quite beautiful as an end table or even a clock, or if a Burl is big enough, a coffee table or a dining room table, the size of the one you showed would be for a clock, and a slice about an inch and a half to two inches would be just about perfect, the hard part of working a Burl is getting it dried and sanded to remove any saw marks and then there is the final part, an epoxy/resin finish to seal the wood fibers from moisture and bugs, and the live edge has to be left on, and sealed, the size Burl you showed us will be perfect as a wall hanging clock, if you can find someone to do most of the work for you, a Burl clock that size will sell right around $350 to $750 if done right, my brother has a tree business and can get Burl's when he cuts down trees and Burl's can happen to most varieties of trees
Awesome hiking trip JP! Beautiful park! We used to call them mushroom like growth's on trees toad stools but they were bigger than those, I see alot of them in Mammoth Cave national park and a friend of mine calls them lichens. Really peaceful video nicely filmed and narrated! Watching this on the 1st of April I was expecting the Twinkie trees might be blooming! Great video! Thanks for bringing us along!

Great trails, great photo opportunities, and the sheer silence from the world of being in nature always make for a relaxing, tranquil time of peace and relaxation while enjoying some great exercise. Totally enjoyable.
Really enjoyed the walk, as a person who now can hardly get out, no transport & I don't drive, its lovely to see the country side especially as spring is around the corner, we hope.
The crossed trees 🌳 were neat looking..if I had to guess I'd say they fell like that naturally 😉😀 I also loved the little stream where you stopped for a photo op 😀, the three trees 🌳 growing out of one...lots of knots on that one 😀 and that was, I believe, lichen in the crevice of the one tree 🌳 🥰❤👍👍
enjoy all your videos..they are pretty well balanced if you ask me.... there are stone walls like that just over the hill from me, i was told they could have been property lines or even "fences "" to keep cattle in one field... one thing for sure they built stuff to last back in the day

Second time watching this and I did not realize I had already comment LOL...Every thing so beautiful JP I live close to the desert and never again will go any parks or forests as old age has disabled me to the point of staying home these days. I love going along with you on your adventures. I love the natures carpet and those wild flowers were so pretty. I find it hard to imagine there were big trains and all rolling thru in that beautiful nature. God Bless.
Hi Jay, I'm loving the trail so far, it's good to get out into nature, it's not only good for the health but good for the soul too. I love the way you take your photo's it really brings the subject to life. I would definitely love to see another video just like this one, you had everything in perfect harmony, I will mention about the audio though, I think it's just that you need a wind muffler. Out of the two trails I think I prefer the second one as we got to see the stream and lake and it just seemed a bit more scenic. Thank you for sharing, much love. xx ❤

Its always nice to these due to my old phone i lost a lot of pictures like the ones jp was sharing to people i un happy over it but i manage to due what i can to restore the RUclips channel everything nice .........
In the short stop of enjoying of not much sound. Was that wind or water I heard in the background? Because sometimes to me they sound almost the same when I walk in the woods.
Where's Lackawanna located at not sure..and that white stuff on the trees I've seen before but I've never really known what it is either let me know what u find out it's called.?

Maybe since it was former farms in the hills, can you find the former owners and the history. Fishing might be interesting too.
Opening day of trout season in pa is today can you guess where I am headed Monday. I swear I use my yearly non resident pa license more then my lifetime ohio license .
25:49. Those walls. Do you think they might have something to do with flood control? Could they be to prevent erosion? What are your thoughts on this?
Could I request to ask for the trail map route that you took for this beautiful hike video. And where to park for the loop. Thanks for sharing the video. Thoroughly enjoyed.
I did show where I parked and the trail route during the video.
At 26:38, I measured about 2 miles.

In the short stop of enjoying of not much sound. Was that wind or water I heard in the background? Because sometimes to me they sound almost the same when I walk in the woods.
Maybe both?
Beautiful pictures and is the lake man made?
I believe it is.
@@JPVideos81 I imagine the farms there
These are well maintained trails. I guess the State does that.
Where's Lackawanna located at not sure..and that white stuff on the trees I've seen before but I've never really known what it is either let me know what u find out it's called.?
36.40: Is this stream the only source of water for that lake?
I can't confirm that, but I've only been to one section. I would assume there are multiple sources.

Are you trying to compete with Cliff? I will watch both as I have for a long time.
I dont compete with anyone. Anyone can go for a hike. I just enjoy nature.
