Absolutely! Always love going on adventures & talking with you. Beautiful journey today. That waterfall & stone bldg magnificent & simply Gorgeous views along the way. No matter what we walk & find always love it my dear friend!! :)
When I could get around I was always outside. I grew up in a house on the river. I really miss it. I miss walking in the woods and hearing the sounds of nature. I loved everything about this video, and I love how you always make me feel like I am actually there with you and that you are talking to me as a friend. I love your videos and thank you for all your hard work. NONE of your videos are failures!
I really enjoyed this video. My husband is from Pa. and we spent a lot of time walking in the woods. Now we can’t do a lot of hiking. Getting old is a bummer. So watching your videos let’s us wander the woods again. Keep making these videos. I love to see what you find.
How can anyone find you and your videos boring, we enjoy watching every single one of your videos. Life is about the journey, the journey is just as, if not more important than the destination, the people who don't see that about the journey, miss out on so much. Your videos are always entertaining. My brother and I would never miss an adventure, we take many roads and non roads in a 2wd that many won't take with a 4wd, if we didn't take those roads, although a little rough and overgrown to a point we might gain a few scratches on the car along the way, we would miss out on the adventure and whatever lies at the end of the track. We take the track every time, unless it's really bad, big ruts and very boggy or deep sand, in which case we walk it.
at or around 8:40 theres is someone or something on the other side of that bridge in the back. what ever it is moves when you are pointing at the bridge saying its severly rotted.
I enjoyed all of your videos. It gives me an opportunity to hike and explore from the comfort of my living room and I very much appreciate all you do. You and Cliff are terrific
JP, your videos are always worth watching. During the time of year when you're doing this one, the lack of foliage makes it easier to spot structures, etc, that you might not see otherwise.
I enjoy the adventures you do, there is no way I am capable to do this so through your eyes I see it all, so thank you for your hikes!! Love your work!!
I’m liking this style of video. The music is a great addition and I love all of the info about the place. Keep making the longer videos please. I do also love your older videos!!! Keep up the great work !!!
Oh my! Another fabulous adventure in nature, with trees, water, and abandoned structures! I loved the entire video JP! So much fun "tagging along" with you. Please take Cliff, Mike, or someone along though! None of us, your faithful subscribers, want to see you injured!!
I enjoy very much your videos. Abandoned old ruins or mines, buildings, houses, churches are my favorite ones to see in videos. I like to watch because I can bring them back to life in my mind. It's just great. I hope to visit one of these places in the near future.
Enjoyed watching on a lazy Sunday Afternoon listening to the water, the stone walls, traintracks all the trees what a view on that platform looked like a beautiful day
I really enjoy all your videos. You operation of the camera is absolutely stunning. I like how you left your camera when you went back over the pedestrian walkway. Thank you JP for all your hard work and for taking all of us with you. AND I know your pretty cautious but I shit myself Everytime you get by the cliffs edge. Take care and stay safe cause we wanna see more.
✔️ Another great explore video from JP!! I really liked the 1893 stone house very cool!! I enjoy all of the parts of your videos music, narration, editing and your passion for what you do!! Keep on truckin JP 👍🏻❤️
I enjoy your videos, they are not boring. I hike every day, but can only do about 2 hrs. my husband has dementia and cant hike far away. Keep these videos coming, Thanks.
I live in Montana and we have mountains, creeks and streams; some of the most beautiful scenery I've ever seen. In the early fall it's not uncommon to see herds of deer and antelope grazing in fields. The places you go? They are beyond interesting and educational and just plain fun! I love watching your videos...it makes me feel like I'm there too. Thanks again for all you do and just keep on doing what you and keep being safe 🙏😊 I can't wait to see more videos 😊
Jay, I swear you know me...even though we have never met! Every time you do a railroad video, I am glued. I thank you so much for what you do! The old train signals were amazing to see again. I remember those as a kid. Where I grew up they were still in use in the late 1960's.
I’m fascinated by this sort of thing. Things that were once so vital to an area are now slowly being taken back by nature. And you’re 100% right, follow railroad tracks and you will find something. Great video!
I loved the whole video JP! It didn't feel like a long video at all. It flowed quite smoothly and I would love to see more in the future! God Bless and keep up your awesome work!
I really enjoyed your walk. I feel like I walk with you.. It was a beautiful day. I love the water sounds when they're not to loud and the train tracks. You said it is an active line. Unfortunately there were no trains today. Please keep doing these videos.
JP, the pump house was my favorite too! What a totally awesome and cool place and absolutely beautiful! I really liked all of it. Would like to see more and hope you do bring someone back with you to explore more of it.
I loved this video especially the resivour. I loved walking through the Bush and discovering things. You did well to keep me interested until the end 👍🏾
I really enjoyed this video. Being from just north of here, I find the old railroad and coal mining ruins fascinating. I went on Google Earth and found the area you were exploring. It's amazing that what looks so remote is nestled in a heavily developed area. The landscape also looks much different in the winter than the summer images on Google Earth. I could not find the 1893 structure in the woods. The pipe supports were a great find, too. Good work. Keep these coming!
I've just found your utube channel and I find it very relaxing. The way you explain things as you go along and nice to see life styles and past structures etc from your past cultures. You have some lovely places and I will watch more of your vids to broaden my experience of the USA. I live in the UK and we have some lovely structures similar to the ones shown in your vid. You make it nice to watch as its so peaceful putting my feet up and as I said, seeing new places in the USA. Thanking you and keep up the good work...... Trev. UK
I love your videos. I have similar interest in exploring the environment and finding out the story behind abandoned features. I really enjoyed your exploration of the river crossings
Awesome Video, I like the commentary, I like the fact that you just went out on a beautiful day to look at some cool stuff, hey I like your Videos. Good to watch when your working. Thanks JP.
Hi Jason .. at least you are trying and i love that you include all your followers .. its real nice of you. Be careful of the tracks sweetheart .. Wow you have warm weather there at the end of January. Over here in England all we get is rain and its getting worse nowadays. I agree i think those stones have been placed there but i don't know what it was. You get to go to some beautiful places J .. I love this its like going with you on an adventure yay. Yes the blue sky is beautiful and its great that you have warm weather there. I hope an ATV doesn't come your way with all those puddles. Once we had bad rain and i worked at a primary school at the time and a car came round the corner real fast and didn't slow down and it hit the giant puddle which was on the side of the road and they splashed me i was wet through from top to bottom and i was at work all day trying to dry off lol. Wow i wonder what those supports were for in the stream? All way through the video im saying in my mind please be careful J .. Ha ha yep a child's bike so its officially abandoned lol. Great awesome video J .. always love them and my fave part was to see that hut and the structures in the water holding the pipes x
Very cool video, and I love the slomo and still photos as well. Never tire to the sound of rushing water. Glad you made some smart decisions regarding your trek since you were alone on this excursion. Stay safe.
That was so cool! I really love the panned shot of the reservoir waterfall I sit and sew whilst watching and listening. Find it quite calming! Thank you for the hike!
Beautiful video. Enjoyed it, reminded me how beautiful PA really is. My late husband spent summers on the Scranton side if Lake Wallenpaupack, he knew this area well. Your cinematography has gotten better with time! Nice work.
Awesome awesome video!!! Those pillars in the water remind me of structures for bridges. Be safe going by yourself- remember the buddy system works lol

This is just awesome, powerful water falls. I am so glad you are careful, man no one will ever find you there. Love the nature walk and tour, nice to see. I just wonder what went threw those big pipes, perhaps water drainage from somewhere. Its amazing how they build things. Love the rock walls, think perhaps as to hold back the dirt incase the river rizes for flooding. Its amazing. Many thanks for the tour. Excellent job. MJ
jp, my favorite part was the old pump house, the dam, and the old railroad track signals. Enjoyed it very much, thank you! I also did like the music too. Yes, please make some more videos like this one, it was interesting. I did some research on an old mill that we have here in Tennessee & I found out that a local mill wright had some irish stone masons brought over from Ireland. A lot of the old mill stones at the grist mills were cut by specialized stonecutters from Europe. It's interesting to see how they cut them with grooves that would move the ground grain out to the edges of the stones as it was milled. There are several of these on display at Fall Creek Falls in Tennessee.
