Pomegranate would be beautiful & delicious in this!
I completely agree maybe instead of the sweetened dried cranberry
This is one of our favorite recipes! We add a can of black eyed peas and serve it as a main dish on a bed of greens.
I love that you always feed Wade as well :)
Absolutely making this for Thanksgiving. Cherries, almonds, fresh blood oranges.
I will be making this for Thanksgiving dinner
I’m going to make this and add pomegranate! Such a beautiful inspiration of a salad
Beautiful salad with beautiful ladies! Adding this to my thanksgiving menu!
Agreed!!!
I make this at least once a week and we love it! The only thing I change is the rice, I use brown Jasmine rice just because I can't find the wild rice. But it tastes amazing!
I order my wild rice out of Duluth MN.
What a great idea and perfect for holiday potlucks. Thank you. Love you😘
Such a lovely time with you all :D lots of fun, and seems like a great recipe :)! I feel like it would go so well with kale, so I'd probably add tons of that :D thank you for sharing
Mushrooms and parsley with wild rice (or other crunchy brown rice) would also make a great cold dish, I once bought this from a Lebanese store - delicious! A few pine nuts on top would add a little cheesy & nutty flavour. Personally I like to keep it simple and use few ingredients so I can really taste individual flavours.
I really really love Ann! She’s the cutest lady!
Thank you so much for this channel!❤❤❤
I made this for Friendsgiving last night and it was a hit! I'll be making it again for Thanksgiving, trying almonds vs. pecans this time. I used ¼ cup red wine vinegar and the rest of my jar of mandarine oranges. : ) I forgot to rinse the wild rice after I cooked it, so I'm not sure what difference it would have made. It sure is yummy!
Another winner!! I used the Forbidden Black Rice, walnuts and dried cherries. Definitely a turbo car wash for your intestines.
Three beautiful, wise and intelligent ladies! Thank you and best wishes to you and all your viewers in this wonderful WFPB community
I am trying the recipe this weekend. Thanks for all you do for the PB community.
Amazing as usual. Love the added Ann to the recipe,😅 shes so funny with her little comments 🤣
Pomegranates would be good in this too!!!
I made this for a work potluck, where no one else was plant based, and the6 loved it.
An Indian lady taught me to cook wild rice easily and this is how. Use an oven safe pan with lid. Measure out your rice and water then place in oven. Preheat to 500 and shut oven off. Then I go to bed and in the morning it’s perfect. My name is LaDonna from Minnesota! Love your recipes and the joy that comes with it.
This has been so delicious for our Thanksgiving feast and I like to add pomegranate jewels.
I love Ann!! 😂 she says the funniest things
This is on my list to cook from your cookbook know I can’t wait!❤
I just made this tonight. Oh my goodness…. It’s SO yummy! I could eat the whole bowl! I will for sure be eating this on the regular. Thanks for sharing this recipe!
Can't wait to make this dish!!
I can’t wait to make this! I will sub in pecans. 😋
Looks delicious!!😊
We have nut allergies in our family, so I prefer to use raw pumpkin seeds! 🎃
I will definitely be making this… all of my favorite ingredients. Maybe change out pomegranate for the dried cranberries
I just watched your video and you Three Musketeers had me in stitches. I love wild rice as my mother was Norwegian and grew up in Minnesota. I am going to write this recipe down! It sounds delicious!
I made this for Thanksgiving and all the omnivores loved it! So nice to have something fresh and light to complement the other dishes!
Making it now for another gathering and I'm adding freshly shredded zucchini! Adds a nice color and texture contrast! This recipe is a keeper for sure! Thanks for sharing! I grew up in Cleveland Heights and am now a Minnesota transplant. Skol!
I am going to have to give this one a try! Looks like a wonderful recipe for this time of year.
I've had a varoatopm pf this salad. My friend added some thinly sliced fresh mint! Let me tell you, it put it over the top! I'd probably sub pomegranite seeds for the sweetened cranberries.
Just made - delicious! Thank you, Penny and Jane and Ann, I have a new staple for the rotation 🎉❤😊
I love that this is in the guidelines. Will make for sure. Thank you!
Thank you ladies, I love wild rice, I will make this salad.Bea😊
It looks and sounds delicious! I will try it next week and love the possibility to experiment with the ingredients.
Thank you for your inspiring videos! You changed my way of eating a lot and I feel better than ever!
That looks amazing 😋🌱💕
That looks so good!😮
Thank you for the lunch idea! ❤
Looks so good!
I can't wait to make this today! 😍
What a beautiful colourful salad!
Love this, beautiful ladies that makes cooking fun ❤thank you for this
🌱🕊💚Thanks so much for the demo!! Looks scrumptious!! Will look it up in my copy of the book!! This will be added to our Thanksgiving table!!!
The 3 of you crunching and “mmmmming”. ❤❤
It’s really good the next day. Thank you very much
Oh wow that does look good
We are in VT too!!
That looked SO yummy and THAT crunch (‘wow’) made it more enticing to make. Thank you for this inspirational video. Out of interest, how often do you eat on a regular day? Do you eat when you’re hungry or at specific meal times etc. I ask this because there is so much out there about intermittent fasting and it’s health benefits. It would be interesting to hear about your thoughts about intermittent fasting on a plant based diet. Thank you 🥬🥑🥕
Ammaaazing and beautiful and I am sure very tasty 😋 thank you all ❤
I just doubled it!!!
Can you recommend any good knives? Hey recipe looks great. How about a squirt of lime in there?
Black “forbidden” rice is a pretty stout rice. Would that be a great option in lieu of the wild rice??
Love the butter lettuce comment 😂
Persimmon!
Initially enthusiastic about this recipe, but once made it tasted very bland. I suspect it needs salt and fat. Thank you for your enthusiastic quirky delivery. Keep up the good work we need more characters in the world.
I don’t like vinegar, any dressing you recommend from your cookbooks?
This salad is a must try!!! Was this recipe in Plant Based Woman Warrior???!!
Yes page 140 I think
It’s on page 140 of Engine 2 Cookbook. Ann showed it at the very beginning of the video.
Correction: Jane showed it at the beginning of the video. 😉
Hard to get unsweetened cranberries here. Would raisins work
20 bucks says there’s at least one empty bottle of white wine somewhere in this kitchen.
What’s Magnetic in this recipe?
Hahahaha my engine 2 copy is also not together anymore. 😅
#richard
But the red wine in the vinegar sounds like it would not be healthy since wine is not good to drink, especially, for women
Home grown celery is best if you grow it you’ll never buy it again from a store. 😋
Delicioso 👏

Wild rice is actually a seed not a rice and it is wonderful hot.
Looks delicious! I have tried becoming vegan, but every once in a while, I get this hunger that I can't satisfy. When this happens, I need to consume some animal protein and it goes away 😢. What can I do to stop eating meat?
My husband is also struggling with this. I’m going to try making him a few meals each week using the “Beyond Meats” options. They have all kinds of things and I know going to the WFPB is best but if this helps the transition, I’m reading it’s still healthier than eating meat?? I tried the Beyond Meat Ground sausage Chorizo the other night cooked by a vegan family member and I was shocked at how delicious it was!! Maybe this will help till meat is no longer craved??
Good luck on your journey!! I’m new to this too and my struggle is with sugar 😂😢
@@loribakergirl6438 Great idea 💡!!! Thank you so much 💐
@@loribakergirl6438 I took a Vegan Sausage dish to a Thanksgiving dinner party. I didn’t label it as Vegan. Everyone ate some, loved it and asked for the recipe. They were all shocked that it was Vegan. I used the Field Roast Apple & Sage Sausages and the recipe from their website. So yummy and perfect for a Fall gathering, as it includes apples, onion, fresh herbs and apple cider.
This recipe looks amazing and Incan’t wait to make it.
@@rosannamulcahy8385 so welcome!!👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻
You forgot to put in the magnets….😖.
