What are you talking about? This advises the consumer exactly how much he can save by using cash.
Why should the vendors have to eat the 4% the credit card companies charge them to do nothing more than pass along the money?
Not too long ago credit card companies used to threaten not to work with businesses that tried to offer the consumer a break for paying in cash. They didn't want you to know that they skimmed 4% off every sale.
BTW, those same credit card companies are happy to charge you 18% or whatever to carry a balance, so now they've taken in 4% on the sale and hit you for 18% to carry then balance, now they're taking in 22%, and are STILL looking for more ways to get even MORE out of you.

Take a good hard look at a Federal Reserve Note printed by the U.S. Treasury, it says: "For ALL debts public AND private." Have you ever thought about what that means?

Credit fee is like another sort of direct tax by ultra richer on lower classes besides other indirect taxes imposed by these classes using govt. legislativ power in their favor.
I think credit card fees are part of a business doing business. It's crap that they pass along the fee to you. You shouldn't be penalized based on how you pay.

Those businesses are ALREADY DOING THIS - this is just Forcing Businesses Not to Trick Consumers! This is NOT ADDING a fee - it is just Consumer Notification!

Any business that cannot afford THEIR fees cannot afford to run a business period. They need to learn financial responsibility.
Not true. The fees are a lot. Especially for expensive purchases this adds up a lot. Why should the business be responsible for you wanting to pay via cards and not cash.

It's for your convenience. Not the bussiness. This allowed businesses to lower prices for customers paying with cash or check. Now everyone just has to pay the normal price.

In one way cash is better w/o tracking. However, this is a prelude ... after they get you use to the fee then we will be forced into digital currency. In the meantime, businesses w have cash again and be targets for robberies and bank drops.
