Wonderful indoor view! Very beautiful furniture setup work👍👍👍Amazing video! Very beautiful sharing! Stay connected my dear friend! Wish you a goodsuccess! Hearty Greetings! ❤❤❤
Thank You Cara! I'm so glad you are enjoying my content!!! 😂🤣😂🤣 Lololollol! THEY don't understand Grandma's LOVE for tiny objects yet! Soon either they will clean up better or question me after each visit😅🤭😂🤣🫣💖💖💖!
Oh my gosh I laughed so hard when you talked about soap you couldn't use at your Grandmother's house! My Great Aunties always had rose shaped soap or other colorful scented soaps in a dish in the bathroom and it was a huge NO NO to use them. I could never figure out what to wash my hands with. 😂 And don't even get me started on the "nice towels". I am OBSESSED with your bathroom and the old cabinet! Remind your dolls that good things come to those who wait. 🚽 (Ahh Jean Naté- smells like adolescence. LOL ). 😍✨
Yes DOT! they did not play about those pretty rose shaped and heart shaped soaps! When you mentioned the Pretty HAND Towels i fell out!!!! For some odd reason I was fascinated with bubbles/suds. The soap that was acceptable to use was Dove or Lifebouy and i loved the feeling of suds on my hands. So would wash my hands so long she would have to come check on me! LOLOLOLOL!!!
Hi Ms Gretchen! I'm back. I apologize for being absent from your story . My beloved kitty, Dinah passed just before Christmas. Prior, I was helping her with everything at home to make her as comfortable as possible. In my miniature project, I had to completely redo the walls I added to the back of Patricia House. The wood i used was much too thin, and when I was adding siding.....warping was out of control. The entire project went on hold until my kitty passed and the major holidays were behind me. But, now, I've resumed. I have so many of your lovely videos to catch up on! I've missed so much of the dolls story. But, wanted to say hello and thank you always for you inspiration. I really enjoy your stories. -Dennis-Lv.
HEY THERE DENNIS!!! Welcome back! I have definitely missed you! I am So sorry to hear of your loss. Yes you needed that time. Now that you are back there is alot to catch up on so enjoy! Got some announcements coming up soon so stay tuned.
Thank you!!! Tacky wax is a life saver! I am always bumping into something inside the dollhouse. So grateful it keeps all my tiny treasures from falling! Lolololol!!!
I love Chrysnbon Anything..lol The bathroom is lovely. So many lovely accessories. 😍 I love how it turned out. Does remind me of a bathroom from when I was younger, and we definitely had a clawfoot tub, and that sink. The toilet was more modern, but I think it's one of the reasons why I love the Chrysnbon bathroom. Now at my Aunts parents' house, they had a toilet like that. Lol, I was only 5 back then.❤🥰
Thanks Jolene! I Love Clawfoot tubs that feel of the smooth porcelain inside the tub was amazing to me as a child. i didn't know that's what it was i just knew it was different than tub at our house! Lololoolol! Only time i ever saw a toilet like that was in a Historical Hotel in Detroit called the Saint Regis. It was so amazing to see the water box on the wall! loloolololl!!!
Hello Gretchen, the bathroom looks wonderful, its all the little bits and pieces that really bring it to life, you can just imagine the ladies pottering about in the mornings getting ready for the day ahead No matter how I try I can't get along with locking tweezers at all, they just don't work for me, I always end up dropping the thing I'm supposed to be holding 😅 I'm looking forward to your next video, have a lovely weekend. Best wishes from Yorkshire, England 🇬🇧 😊
Thank you Diane! I love adding all the tiny accessories and details the most! I totally understand about the tweezers! That's how I feel about so many measuring tools! they are awkward and get in my way!!! lolololol!!!
Your accessories are so charming, what am I saying, everything you do is charming! Love the storyline Gretchen. And those naughty men leaving the toilet lid up lol.
LOLOLOL! Thank you Debbie for your Kind words! I am so glad you are enjoying this! Real Life Men and Doll house Men Always leave the seat up! Not Naughty just being MEN!!! LOLOOLOLOLOL!!! I really appreciate you feedback!
Well, Gretchen, if this isn’t truly THE MOST CHARMING, DARLING REALISTIC sweet bathroom … then I don’t know! THIS is so much like my grandma’s bathroom when I was a little girl! From the subway tile walls to the claw foot tub to the Jean Nate on the shelf, and more! What memories this brings back! One thing my gram had as well in her bathroom were chalk fish and mermaids on the wall above her tub! I thought they were quite magical and so exotic! LOL, ALL of your videos and creations are truly magical, you know! You are the consummate miniaturist! Thank you once again, my friend! Just amazing! ❣️ Kathleen
WOW! KATHLEEN! That is so Amazing because this bathroom reminds me of the bathroom in my Great grandmother's house that was built in 1921. so much of what i due is from a mix of memories and family history with a twist of fantasy! Thank you for always letting me know you are enjoying this!!
YAY! RENEE!!!! I am so tickled by how this bathroom was familiar to so many of You DOLLS. Chantilly was my 1st perfume i ever received as a GIFT! I Love it to this Day! Although I remember "Dippity Do" from TV commercials it never made it to our shelves! LOLOOLOL!
Yes CHERYL 😀 that was a LADIES GROOMING staple! It has a light scent and it doesn't clash with your other fragrances. I STILL LOVE IT! But it's hard to find! Thank you for watching 😊💖 and being here!
Oh if only renovations WERE that easy! I love the playing/auditioning process so much, I haven't seen dollhouse stuff at estate sales, I am envious! You always have such great ideas too, of what to do with them. Everything looks so natural.
Thank you! "PLAYING" IS MY FAVORITE THING TO DO! The estate sale i went to was ONLY FOR THE DOLLHOUSE. It wasn't a life size sale. A co-worker's mother in law passed. She has A HUGE COLLECTION! The family had no interest in it. She found out that l was into Dollhouses and invited to come look. They had already sold the dollhouse but lots of furniture and accessories were available. I also find that eBay has a lot of dollhouse estate sale items. Have FUN ☺️!
Thank you for letting us watch you play. 😊 Those little accessories you've been saving (NOT hoarding!) seem right at home. Aunt Janie and Aunt Bess will be glad to have their bathroom all in order.
Thanks Laura! that is what i was always trying to get to as a child! To complete the scene so I could PLAY! Yes the ladies are quite happy to finally see things coming together! Those sewing machine will be working overtime to make curtains! LOLOLOL!!!
Aww! Your scene is making me nostalgic for Jean Nate after bath splash! Memories! Well the ladies are going to have everything they could need and are going to smell lemony fresh at the dress shop! 😂
Thank you Claire! Now that is is getting close to finished the bathroom actually looks like a a bathroom from my childhood! Yes Jean Nate was a hygiene staple! I still Love it!
The bathroom looks so realistic. I love it! I like the way you make your houses look lived in. I can see the ladies getting ready for the day in their bathroom. And enjoying the fact that it’s a little quieter. Then the rooming house in the morning🥰
Yes they have a little more privacy and solitude than when thy were at the rooming house. And to have a bathroom that is just for the 2 of them is wonderful! That' why that toilet seat being left up was funny, because no men live at the Dress shop!
Hoarding and remembering where you put them, mmm that sounds very familiar lol, well Gretchen you did it again lovely lady, I love this bathroom and all of the little treasures in it, tfs x Julie 🇬🇧

So until next time God Bless you and your family and have a Blessed weekend and stay safe my dear and Special Friend. May you have a Blessed Easter! ❤❤❤
Well I have finally ordered some tacky wax to try, I have always just glued everything in place but after watching you “play” thought it might be fun to have that option to change things up once in a while. 😀
LOLOLOL!! Donna I didn't realize people glued things down until I got on youtube! LOLOLOL!!!I "" I Literally PLAY with my Dollhouse and move things around so I could never imagine gluing them down permanently. I need ti try that tack it over and over to see how that works! Moving things around for me is the FUN!!! Only things i glue permanently is Wallpaper, Floors and Curtains to the windows! i figure if i decide ti change them I'm re-decorating!!! LOLOLOL!!
The bathroom is so nostalgic, Gretchen. I love the old tubes, sinks and tiling on the walls and floors. I could not get over how realistic the toiletries looked. My Mother loved Jean Nate and Noxzema, lol.
I prefer tacky wax vs glue, so the items can be rearranged and reused. I've seen vintage minis with dirty items glued to the surface. It's a shame bc they can't be cleaned easily. For longevity, I'm using wax from now on.
I KNOW RIGHT!!! I HAVE SEEN THAT TOO! I ALWAYS WONDER WHY??? LIKE WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS! Because many times there are several different materials used so each one would require different cleaning and the grimes the builds up is like yick!🤭😆. But I guess for some folks, dollhouses are for Show only.....But l PLAY with My DOLLHOUSES, so it will always be Tacky wax😂!
