You have to get the photos appraised for them to be worth more. Thorne Bailey’s alone is worth 300 simoleons after getting appraised.
In one of my games he died after I got his autograph and I had it reappraised for 6k.

Yeah, the longer you hang onto them the higher they appraise for. You can reappraise them too.

One of the funniest things to ever happen in my game involved a family I had not been playing for a while and had been left to its own devices. I went back to play and my main sim got a phone call informing him that he now had twins. And who was his baby mama? Just Judith Ward!

The best way is to summon a ghost of a dead celeb, add him to your house hold and have him sell autigraphs. You can sell them for up to 10000$
I could be wrong, but I'm convinced the system of building friendship through taking photos was introduced as a way to befriend celebrities. It is just too OP to be anything else.
It's honestly the most realistic part of playing a teenager-- they do bond by being in photos and videos together so much these days. Much better than the school expansion.
As a vampire you can use your alluring visage to make friends with celebs super easily too!

Could you consider building a place for teenagers in your newcrest project? Like a little hangout place in the big park lot or make one of the homes an abandoned house where they can come together, maybe furnished with run down and mismatched furniture... so you'd have a place to go for every lifestage 💗

I'd really like you to build a manor house of Polish nobility (dworek szlachecki). These manors were built in the countryside where people might enjoy the nature and cultivate tradition. They are really characteristic and pretty. They just have their own charm.

You can also steal the celebrity tiles from the walk of fame. Those are worth $500 a piece. You also need to get the photos appraised. Then the value goes up.

I think Stanley would be a great candidate for a Super Sim! I am trying it with my current sim, but I think it is overambitious to do all the aspirations and all the traits. It would take forever to complete it. How about just 5 aspirations?
The one celebrity I hate is Thorne Bailey, and I don't know what the problem is with Judith? My sim doesn't have any difficulty getting to know her. She is usually the first celebrity my sim gets to know.

If you put the autograph on the wall, you have the option to evaluate it ! The most I have gotten was 6400
once one person leaves a comment about something a person did wrong in a game, you no longer need to add an additional comment telling them the terrible sin they made while

Kayla Fleming usually has maximum fitness skill. You can ask her to mentor you, to build up your relationship. If you max your own fitness skill, you can mentor other celebs, when they use the equipment. You can try switching to the fitness aspiration & playing through that. If you join Marcus Flex's club, you can call meetings at a gym & hopefully a celeb will visit. Also remember that celebs will show up at any gym. You can choose one that does have TV's.
autographs are worth much more when the celeb dies. I got one from my ghost relative who was a 5 star celeb and it was appraised at $128k.
Hardly having any interaction options with celebrities really throws me back to sims 1 superstar, making star-friends in that game is such a hassle.

When I was doing the scientist career in the not so berry challenge I literally used the simray to freeze Judith Ward every chance I got. Which was A LOT.
Get them appraised and a selling table and THEN sell your autographed pictures on it at whatever mark up you'd like.
We need a re-do with the appraisal feature being used, and social bunny! You can befriend them way easier ☺️

my sim became every celebrity's friend because the celebs just keep walking up to her and introducing themself??? After that, the game treats them like normal sims and my sim can easily befriend them. It's so weird that they keep doing that! I don't even have to try at this point!
ask celebs about their interests until your friendship bar is high enough to have regular conversations
I know i'm late on commenting on this so you probably won't notice it. But as others said you have to appraise the Autographs and make sure you click the autograph itself and tell it to sell to a collector instead of sliding it to the sell bar. You'll gain fame from selling autographs that way. But also If you wait 24 hours after appraising them to sell them they double in price. Also a neat sort like work around when it comes to befriending celebrities is if you join the life guard part time job and get promoted enough to get beach flex. You can just beach flex on them over and over until you can talk to them like a normal everyday sim. Ive yet to have a beach flex fail on a celebrity sim.
I actually have done a challenge like this in sims before and it is really lucrative if you can get past feeling weird/bad about bugging a celebrity over and over and over for an autograph.

Have made my sim rich and famous by selling the autographs after they have stayed in my inventory and gotten them appraised. They go up to like 500 Simoleons 😉

Getting celebrity sims autograph is one of my favorite ways to make some fast cash anymore. if the annoying famous sims are going to be cluttering up the lot I'm visiting, might as well make the most of it and get an autograph to sell lmao

Appraise the photographs Kayla 📸 they will be worth a ton more. It also doesn't take much of the actual sim time either. Also that Dustin guy, really annoying, so in my save basically, I am a global superstar from writing and selling paintings. 😎 I didn't even want to become a celeb or have anything to do with that but I forgot to turn the switch off for it 'quit spotlight' option. But I went with it to explore it more seeing as I might as well. So anyway, me being a global superstar I went to the get famous world, and I was with eliza pancakes and Bob pancakes. Having a conversation (they literally live with me) don't ask. And Dustin boy, comes over and literally interrupts me then passes out (I mean who wouldn't my sims a global superstar) and he kept on messaging and calling my sim. So I put my phone on mute but then it mutes everybody elses in the active household. Really annoying. So in the end I just you know, turn it on again and omg, the amount of calls I get. 📞 odd as its not even coming from any of the perks. Dustin also doesn't have the best traits so, could explain some stuff. Also as I was (truthfully) looking for someone to marry at that point in my game but everyone I like for my sim to marry is married and I don't play as a homewrecker. So I've layed off looking and I'm going to wait for the growing together expansion (as I've already preordered it) to see if they add any kinda singletons I can snatch up. I could just create one in cas, I just can't be bothered. It's also nice to be able to make some sort of story line as well as having it perfect. I know it's just a game but, my morals haven't left me. 😅
It feels illegal to be this early😅 anyways heres a video idea: get a bunch of townies and make a cage based on thear personality (and flip flops) then trap the townie in there. After you’ve done all that you repeat but with other townies and make a townie zoo 😂😂😂
When it comes to Celebrity Sims, I always cheat and make them a friend with MC Command because it's just annoying the way the celebrities deny introductions and the way Sims faint over them. lol. That's the only thing that annoys me about the pack. They could have made the world better for sure. I love what you did here. Wouldn't it be cute if you could have Hot dog costumes for Toddlers and Children, then Stanley could have some kids who are hot dogs.

Also, i didn't know this but saw a comment that said they are even more after the celebrity dies so a rags to riches series where you try this again, get a collection of autographs and then invite the grim reaper to visit a few celebrities if ya know what i mean would uhhh... be pretty funny lmao
also as i have learned since writing this, hold on to the photos for a while, they double in price within a couple days

Hey kayla, if you haven’t done it yet, you can make money by befriending the mother plant in strangeville, you normally would try and defeat it, but if you click attempt to communicate and fill your friendship bar enough, you can request money from it!
You gotta get them appraised over time to add value before you sell them
I wonder if you can get rich just from receiving gifts. I know you can ask other sims for birthday money/presents, and there's always Winterfest and other potential gift-giving holidays. You could sell the less useful ones, and keep any useful items
