Good evening, will you make a video of the filling of the cooling circuit ??? Will it be possible to do this without depressurizing the system? Thank you
Hi, it is not recommended to fill it without a vacuum as you may get voids that are not completely full of coolant. I have done it in the past and just left the bike on the side stand so the coolant cap is the highest point on the bike and leave the overflow reservoir and bleeds screw open on the thermostat. If you fill very slowly you should get all the air out. This isn’t recommended though.
There is nothing wrong with a copper core plug if it is in the correct temperature range. They just don’t last as long. It’s temperature rang is what’s important. Not what it’s made from.
Finally. A video with same year bike. Thx
Thanks for this video

Usually 3/8 inches fit for the spark plugs for BMW. 1/2 inches is actually too thick. It is no different with my old boxer BMW.
