    The photo with Elko on the border corners: according to a quick guide I have by Gary Clark, Elko is the photo developer's name. The sample in the book is dated in 1933.
    My husband was the recipient of a wedding photo of his grandparents who married in 1921. They lived on a farm in Saskatchewan and gave a copy to a next door neighbor. When they were clearing the contents of the house after the neighbors death, they found the photo. They found us through Ancestry and mailed it to us. Very kind. Photo Angels is a wonderful concept. Thank you, Kate & Dana. ☺️

    My FB group has been doing this for years and we have given back over 1900 items to family...with no charge. We actually do more than just photos. We give back any kind of "lost" memorabilia: Bibles, yearbooks, letters and a pair of bronze baby shoes.
