On November 18th, 2012, I sat down with poet and beat legend Diamond Dave Whitaker to discuss Vermin Supreme's career as a presidential candidate and political prankster at a cooperative Occupy New Jersey/Rainbow Family relief camp that was serving food to the victims of Hurricane Sandy.
He told me about a young Bob Dylan visiting him in Minneapolis, reading Woody Guthrie's autobiography, and then heading East to visit Guthrie at Greystone Park Psychiatric Hospital in New Jersey.
