Hi Eduardo - I'll chime in on Functions, SSR, and TypeScript support part! Cloud Functions have supported TypeScript for quite some time, so you can choose to use them from the very beginning. For SSR support, we have released an early preview of that for Next.js, Nuxt, and Angular: github.com/FirebaseExtended/firebase-framework-tools Regarding edge functions, I'd be curious to learn more about what you are building and how you would use them. Please send an e-mail to kirupa[at]google.com and we can dive deeper into that, SSR, TypeScript, DENO, and other "serverless compute" topics that I directly work on. Cheers, Kirupa (Firebase PM)
Hi Ruiqi - Thanks for your feedback. We'll look into this as part of improvements we have slated for the future :-) Cheers, Kirupa (PM for Firebase Hosting)
@@davidspiess2047 , Stan - you can find our documentation here: github.com/FirebaseExtended/firebase-framework-tools This is still a preview, so please let us know (via the Issues tab in Github) if you run into any issues. Cheers, Kirupa (PM on Firebase)
I deploy them to cloud run, don't limit yourself to firebase only, GCP is much more powerful. Firebase is easy and you should use it whenever you can, but when a problem arises, use GCP.
@@admniyeokuyorsun...3044 cloud run would be my preferred solution. But how would you deal with ISR and on demand revalidation with stateless containers?
Totally agree! The new capability is that "firebase deploy" understands apps created in modern web frameworks like Next.js and handles the orchestration between Hosting and Cloud Functions automatically for you :-)
There is a chance to Extension Functions support Kotlin also in addition to TS? Is a better and more powerful language, and is growing without limits in popularity on Google's ecosystem.
Thanks for the feedback! We are looking to add new languages to Functions, and Kotlin is up there along with Python and Dart. We don't have anything concrete to share just yet, but this is high on our list of things to explore in the future.
Hi, Amit! Just as Rosário has stated, these features are available in Studio Electric Eel. However, you can preview this release by following this link: developer.android.com/studio/preview 😃
No, not at the moment! But you could possible use Firebase Hosting's multi-site or preview channel features to host different versions of your app for testing.
Not going to lie a bit disappointed with the new features. I was hoping for graphQL, edge functions, SSR, DENO and Typescript support for functions

I wish they make firestore fans happy again
Can we please have a better Firestore search & GraphQL like functionality?
Guys like this comments so they will see it
we need wildcard subdomain for hosting

Yes!
Add an SQL database. Using CloudSQL with Firebase is more of a pain than it needs to be.
Did you see Google Cloud's launch of AlloyDB! It's really cool! ruclips.net/video/o5pKfH0Tonw/видео.html

Another very useful feature I love are timestamps.
You got it 😘
An sql alternative or more powerful queries for Firestone would be awesome.
Is there any documentation about the deployment of Next.JS SSR apps?
Also interested in this too.

Yet no simple SQL BaaS, yet no subdomain/wildcard support, yet no dart SDK for cloud functions. No edge functions.
Firebase is falling behind the market..
Tudo Sobre As Todas As Solicitações no Firebase.
Firebase Deploy is not new..

I love the new emulator support for extensions!
Emulators all day!
We're elated to hear this feature change is helpful, Lukas. Thanks for watching 😁

We don't have any good use case for flutter web. Do you recommend any leading website uses flutter web?
Your fcm do not work when app is killed or device is rebooted.

Could not find App Insights in Android Studio Bumblebee, Chipmunk and Dolphin
As mentioned in the video, that feature is only available starting in Android Studio Electric Eel

Are there any plans for Windows support in your Flutter packages?
There are. You can see current progress, information, and tentative roadmap here: github.com/invertase/flutterfire_desktop/issues/52
is it possible to use app distribution with a PWA?
No, not at the moment! But you could possible use Firebase Hosting's multi-site or preview channel features to host different versions of your app for testing.
