Activities
1. Dau sailing (to the sun set) 4:30-7:00
2. Floating bar/restaurant- Anytime from 6:00 to late
3. Fishing and snorkeling ( a day trip)
4. Lamu city tour ( 1 hrs 30 minutes or 2 hrs
5. Heena painting
6. Matondoni Village walk - this is the best place where you can get basketry. In Lamu weaving is done at this place.
7. Swahili Music taarab NB: we can have this the same day of the birthday
8. 🏊‍♀️ swimming at the beach and taking photos in the sand dunes ( this is done at Shela)
9. Donkey riding
10. Swahili cuisine lessons (NB: you identify what you want to be taught how to cook
11. Traditional swahili hair style
12. Visiting the Ruins ( Takwa Ruins)
13. Visiting any other island
14. ⛵️ Sailling the island ( round tour) the whole island
15. Visiting Majlis & Peponi Hotel. ( one of the most luxurious hotels in the island.
Here you can pass a day with an access of the swimming pool, restaurant and the hotels have the best beach to enjoy the swimming
16. Visiting nearby public shools i.e secondary schools & primary school for empowering the students, motivating them, playing with them, also contributing on the development of the school both in education and in co-curriculum activities, sanitary towels to the young girls e.t.c
17. Local theatre for watching footbal i.e English premier league
18. Local comedian who imitates both Kenyan and international celebrities and prominent leaders
