I love conventional weapons, the energy and music is awesome but I can see why they changed their minds. MCR's mission was always to evolve and change lives; CV is more what people would have expected - but it doesn't have the next level hope and healing that Danger Days has. DD was before its time, and we need it now. I"m glad both albums were released - I love them all.

I'm 54. I've only "discovered" MCR 6 weeks ago since hearing Foundations of Decay on the radio. I knew of the band previously but that was about it. I'm now obsessed. Simply brilliant stuff. Why Ambulance has never been played live before is a complete mystery. Made for a stadium performance and the perfect set closer. Can't wait to see them in March next year.

Gerard would probably be dead. He was getting depressed by the dark atmosphere and needed it to stop so he ended the band and started his own career. They're are still friends.
What I have and always will love about MCR is that they said from the get go that they would never last forever because what they had was beautiful and that fact that Gerard gave up MCR for his daughter makes me so happy the fact that he came clean once again and decided she was more important warms my heart.

I enjoy hearing Gerard sing in the lower registers, which he doesn't do very often (verses of "Teenagers," beginning of "Blood"). The melody of the verses is so lovely -- wouldn't mind hearing it as a ballad.

i feel like conventional weapons has a lot of really amazing songs, and it seems like they were kinda written for us. like, its directed towards another person, but we could apply it to ourselves and it sends i pretty good message. ESPECIALLY #4 so many feels

Why is this whole album so fucking under-appreciated?
I enjoy hearing Gerard sing in the lower registers, which he doesn't do very often (verses of "Teenagers," beginning of "Blood"). The melody of the verses is so lovely -- wouldn't mind hearing it as a ballad.
