That’s sounds nice love the nitro I have a traxxas slayer pro and kyosho inferno gt 2.8 after watching this I’m getting them back out thank you for sharing big like from me bud 🤝
So my mind was totally made up, Im getting the Traxxas Slayer 4x4 nitro. THEN I watched this video. WOW. 84 mph. So maybe JATO is what I want. Great video.
Don't forget! There are mods you can get for the motor, exhaust, gearing etc.. With my buddies radar gun, (he's employed by Indiana state police) I got my Jato to 70-72 mph... These buggies are FUN!!! CAUTION... a wreck can be expensive and can cost you the night with it until you get spare parts.. be careful with it
@@Perplexedmage48 Expensive is part of the hobby. I think it's very inexpensive in crash. It's pennies when it come versus against nitro helicopter. That will cost you houndres maybe a thousand for repair cost. Not on these toy cars. Repair is what maybe close to 100 or a bit over thats inexpensive.
@@rcrotorfreak really depends on your financial situation... I don't recommend this toy car as you called it, to people that are not financially good... $100 may not be alot to you, but 100 could be ALOT to someone else... Not everyone here has money to spend on these "toys"..
Doesn't the traxxas link use GPS for speed, too? I can't imagine how else it could do it, other than calculating off the crank sensor speed (which would be a terrible idea imho, with clutch slippage, gear ratio changes being possible "and likely", tire size changes possible, etc...).
@@nitrorc1speed2speed9 okay good to know do you whats normal runing temperature when doing fast runs on ur jato mine goes to 300 suposubly my telemetry
The Nitro Slash was the latest model released. The rest have received small updates. But yes they need to make a few new ones. Which probably wont happen.
that engine sound :) nice, brings back memories

Well that 84 was kph not mph. But in mph it was going about 52
@@Marshall-w9f Oh Ok, thank you. Thats still an impressive speed. And by the way, I love your vids.

Love these videos bro. Can’t wait for more
thank you more coming!
got to love a fresh jato !!!!
cant go wrong with a Jato
Love jatos. My first nitro was a jato and when the tyres warmed up it would wheelie when it hits second gear.
WOW, the Jato are crazy fast 😮
I love nitro rc
Fooled me at first when i heard 82. Lol I said dang that's really moving
I have the same color installed Dynamite Mach 2 .19T with some new shock springs. I bought it and haven’t ran it yet since new.
You HAVE to try that! And I have a Dynamite Mach 2 .19 motor, will install at some point.
i love my jato
Ooh interesting good job
Aussie 👍 are you in Adelaide by any chance?

The Traxxas link runs off the crank sensor, no GPS.... hence the difference in speed
What percent nitro u using ?
20% nitro
Bro is this stock or what holy moly! ?
Fully stock - no mods here!
You put OS Max .21 TM in there or Dynamite Mach 2 it be super Jato
I have the exactly the same body and jato
You had the tire treads facing the wrong way. Probably slowed you down a bit.
do you know how acurate is the temp gauge ,? have u ever compared with an aditional one for teperature like u did with speed to see difrence?
Yes I have done a second temp check, using a hand held gun. Temps were similar.
@@nitrorc1speed2speed9 okay good to know do you whats normal runing temperature when doing fast runs on ur jato mine goes to 300 suposubly my telemetry
285 is standard temp, 300 on a fast run is acceptable
Is this a mod of some sort or does it come with the car?
sorry not sure what you are referring to. Jato is stock standard bar the fuel filter.
i didn't know any 1/10 scale cars came with a 2 speeds, i thought it was just 1/8 and above....
I didn't know 2SPEEDS...existed..the sounds are insane....love how he started it to....
There are even 3 speed 1/10 :) schumacher fusion 28
She’s to lean on high speed needle
Such an outdated car it’s been the same since 2006, traxxas hasn’t innovated with gas

No other traxxas car built like it how is that not innovative the new orange body is fire 🔥 though
