Love Krystal, love Yang, but this "full" version is also billed as being "extended" and that's a misnomer since it doesn't appear to have anything at all beyond those cut-up clips.
Is one really good man like Andrew Yang enough to modify the current psyche of the Dems? Don't think so...need more good men and women methinks. And the retirement of many of the current batch...
I appreciate that Yang was respectful to bernie and not just dismissive of Bernie's plan but intelligently explained why he believed his plan was more out reaching and easier to implement.
This is a long response. Warning. Bernie is great, but Bernie can’t accomplish what he really wants or what is necessary. He has struggled with that for years and years. It won’t change now. It is actually worse. His ideas are wrong. Federal jobs guarantee? That doesn’t work. Look it up. It’s always a complete failure and has massive administrative issues. He is a great advocate for the people and our country owes him the world for paving the way for our future. It is because he has been in the spot light for 30+ years warning us about the truth time and time again, that we are in a position to accomplish great things. Think about this: The United States economy has reached $20-21 trillion per year. Expected to hit $25 trillion by 2023 (which doesn’t include the additional $2.5 trillion increase as a result of the Freedom dividend explained below). The Freedom Dividend requires a cost of approximately $3 trillion. That is only 15% of the current economy. You are told to invest at least 18% of your earned income in retirement for your future annually. Why can’t our government invest 15% of the economy into its people annually? The people who generated that economy and participated in it? Wait, but social security you say? Social security is paid for by the people and stolen by the government. So you can’t say they already invest in us. We invested in us and they take it as part of their budget. It’s a designed retirement plan for the people and has been abused to the point it might not be available to those who paid in. Now, the real cost also isn’t going to be $3 trillion. Since it will overlap against current welfare programs, which are filled with stipulations are designed to actually keep people on them rather than generating a path forward, will reduce the cost to about half. The VAT tax, which is not an income tax and cannot be gamed/avoided, will generate $800 billion, bringing he remaining cost to about $800 billion. Every industrialized country has a VAT tax except the United States because their governments aren’t under corporate control, like ours. There are several other additional items Yang proposed to raise the rest, but you can look that up yourself. It doesn’t really matter though because putting $1,000 in the hands of every United States citizen will inject a maximum of $330 billion each MONTH into the economy. That money will get spent in large and recirculated through the economy, generating employment growth, tax revenue, sales growth, additional VAT revenue to then be put back towards the dividend, etc., and is estimated to grow the economy by $2.5 trillion per year. Now who pays mostly for this? The VAT tax will be placed on non-essential goods. Who buys more of those? Wealthier people that have money. So the tax will fall more proportionately on those that already have. What does the Freedom Dividend also do? Puts money into the hands of those who don’t have, enabling them to purchase non-essential goods themselves. That is good for the economy..... Right now the largest corporations are designed to make as much profit as possible for shareholders. Who are those shareholders? The same few thousand people, which is why the U.S. stock market is not a good measure of prosperity for 330 million Americans. This profitability is at the expense of wages and the workers. In fact, corporations don’t even like people because they cost too much. Which is why robots, AI, and automation is replacing humans. Oh and get this. Corporations are so wealthy and powerful that they have taken over our country. They literally write their own policies and influence laws, essentially bribing politicians to push through their agendas. They are smart. They have money to buy the smartest people to figure out how to avoid taxes, hide money, and cheat the system. Money talks and smart people want money. So in other words, the majority of US citizens work their asses off every day while the system continues to get rigged against them. The gains and profits of our country stay at the top and do not trickle down. It’s an endless cycle and if you look at real facts and charts, the wealthy have increased their wealth over time significantly while the middle class and poor have only fallen. Greatest economy in history and we have over 100 million citizens in poverty. One fucking third of our country is in poverty. Why? The money sits at the top and stays there. These are the worst times in human history for income inequality. Wtf? It’s 2020 almost. Companies like Amazon make $250 billion in revenue annually and pay 0% in taxes. What does that mean? Amazon is soaking up billions in revenue from communities across the country and putting $0 back in. No wonder they are valued at over $1 trillion without showing much profit. Sure they employ people and invest in the locations they are, but it’s minimal and they continue to diminish those expenditures because to them, people are unnecessary expenditures. You think the cost of goods will go up? Do you even understand how capitalism works? Competition brings prices down. Sure their will be a small increase due to the VAT tax among other things. However, the price of things have remained relatively stable through the years except for education, housing, and healthcare while the economy has increased $10 trillion plus. How did general prices stay the same (in line with wage growth) for typically everyday items over the years if the economy had a $10 trillion increase if “but inflation?” Do you know what is bad for our economy? What causes recessions? What “they” worry about? Drops in consumer spending. Listen to the news when they talk about a recession. That is what they always talk about. Reductions in consumer spending. If people don’t have money to buy things, what happens? Companies don’t sell things. Companies then don’t generate revenue. Then they don’t generate shareholder returns and are ultimately disinvested, adding fuel to the fire. Do you know what is good for the economy? People having money to buy things. So why would anyone be worried about the cost of the Freedom Dividend and why does anyone think putting money into the hands of people, who buy things, is bad? It doesn’t make sense. In fact, trickle down economies REALLY don’t make sense when naturally everything trickles up in all economies, always. Corporations don’t exist if people don’t have money to make them useful. The Freedom Dividend is the epitome of capitalism and what’s even better, it will lift 100 million Americans out of poverty OVERNIGHT. The Freedom Dividend, is guaranteed income, which will increase your hourly wage by $6 dollars for a 40 hr work week, no questions asked. It will empower Americans and get the boot off their throats to start to think clearly and make choices. It’s in the MATH. Educate yourselves and stop choosing to be naive. Oh and get this. You would have to have purchased over $115k in VAT subjected goods to erase your Freedom Dividend benefit. So the dividend immediately helps the average person and is a tax break on the first $115k in purchases for a wealthy person. Again, non-essential goods.
He's low in the polls because the polling system itself is out of date and has not adapted to modern times. You see Yang's support online and there's no way he's only at 4% nationally. Our entire polling system needs to be torn apart and rebuilt from the ground up. Until then, the polls are a sham.

I like tulsi a lot though, in my perfect universe, I believe tulsi would be great in a role in the cabinet or something that more directly deals with the military

Alaska is going bankrupt and ending the Dividend. ruclips.net/video/Go8ogFCwyjg/видео.html Yang's UBI is not a Dividend by definition of the word. Yang's UBI is just welfare, it never adjusts to profits as it's just a tax. Milton Friedman never supported anything close to Yang's UBI, in fact his NIT was the opposite of a UBI. The NIT was thought up as a way lower taxes, it was not universal, it shrunk as people made more and goes away completely. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Negative_income_tax Thomas Pain was not a Founding Father and the US never tried any form of a UBI during the founding of the country so a UBi is not "American" by any definition. This guy was a FF though: “When the people find that they can vote themselves money that will herald the end of the republic.” ― Benjamin Franklin Inflation is caused by spending, not printing money. Printing allows for more spending just like taking money from one area of the economy and giving it to the masses as Yang's VAT tax would do. Either of these ways or wealth redistribution cause what is called Demand pull and Cost push inflation: ruclips.net/video/USj52Vlvd5M/видео.html All UBI trials done worldwide have failed, including Milton Friedman's NIT (not a UBI) Yang fails to mention the 12 year study on Milton Friedman's NIT because again, it failed: www.world-psi.org/sites/default/files/documents/research/en_ubi_full_report_2019.pdf Inflation as per an 8 second google search: www.thebalance.com/causes-of-inflation-3-real-reasons-for-rising-prices-3306094 Andrew Yang is a con man and never gives any real math. Allow me to prove him wrong, feel free to research on your own to fact check me. This is all using simple google searches and Yang's words, words like "3 trillion." UBI costs: $3 trillion. Yang claims the real cost of the UBI is: $1.8 Trillion --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yang's math is bad because he claims $1.5 trillion is already being paid out in 126 welfare programs. Tang suggests most of that welfare "cancels out" a large number of people that would otherwise collect the UBI payout, thus it's a "savings" on UBI payouts. Yang's numbers include social security (His words.) Yang's also includes Medicaid spending as welfare spending yet he ignores mentioning that. SS = $848 billion in 2014 (higher now) Medicaid is $604 billion in 2018. Receiving SS or MC in no way counts as "welfare" under Yang's UBI. This means of the $1.5 trillion in "welfare" spending that Yang claims stop most people from collecting on the UBI does not actually count as "welfare" under Yang's UBI rules. $1.452 trillion is just SS and MC, real welfare spending that would stop people from collecting on Yang's UBI is a much smaller number. Real "welfare" that would possibly stop people from collecting on the UBI is "only" $448 billion in 2018. LINK: www.usgovernmentspending.com/welfare_spending Even if half the people on the 448 billion in welfare spending couldn't collect on the UBI the "savings" towards his program would only amount to approx $224 billion. So: $3 trillion = $224 billion = $2.776 Trillion. Yang's UBI would cost almost 3 trillion unless he ends SS + Medicaid that total $1.452 Trillion (probably a bit more). -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- LINK for SS Payouts: www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2015/08/18/5-facts-about-social-security/ At the end of 2014, according to the most recent trustees’ report, some 59 million Americans were receiving retirement, disability or survivors’ benefits from the system; the total cost was $848.5 billion. 166 million people paid payroll taxes into the system. You post yang, I see. Simple.
Ah, a fellow man of culture I see.
This is the only candidate that I feel really has a grasp on the needs of the American people.
Bernie Sanders?
This is a long response. Warning. Bernie is great, but Bernie can’t accomplish what he really wants or what is necessary. He has struggled with that for years and years. It won’t change now. It is actually worse. His ideas are wrong. Federal jobs guarantee? That doesn’t work. Look it up. It’s always a complete failure and has massive administrative issues. He is a great advocate for the people and our country owes him the world for paving the way for our future. It is because he has been in the spot light for 30+ years warning us about the truth time and time again, that we are in a position to accomplish great things. Think about this:
The United States economy has reached $20-21 trillion per year.
Chris Topher Check again.

He's low in the polls because the polling system itself is out of date and has not adapted to modern times. You see Yang's support online and there's no way he's only at 4% nationally. Our entire polling system needs to be torn apart and rebuilt from the ground up. Until then, the polls are a sham.

VPs' jobs are to secure the vote (draw in certain demographics) and then act as The President's "muscle" on Capitol Hill (calling on favors, haggling with former colleagues)...even if offered, Krystal is too sensible to accept (as is Yang to offer at all).
Tulsi would be better suited to be Yang's VP. She commands presence without even asking for it. Yang is the idea man, tulsi is the muscle who would not hesitate calling out Yang if he stepped out of line. Tulsi is the Yin to our Andrew Yang

Alaska is going bankrupt and ending the Dividend. ruclips.net/video/Go8ogFCwyjg/видео.html
Yang's UBI is not a Dividend by definition of the word. Yang's UBI is just welfare, it never adjusts to profits as it's just a tax.
Milton Friedman never supported anything close to Yang's UBI, in fact his NIT was the opposite of a
UBI. The NIT was thought up as a way lower taxes, it was not universal, it shrunk as people made more and goes away completely. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Negative_income_tax
Thomas Pain was not a Founding Father and the US never tried any form of a UBI during the founding of the country so a UBi is not "American" by any definition. This guy was a FF though: “When the people find that they can vote themselves money that will herald the end of the republic.”
― Benjamin Franklin
Inflation is caused by spending, not printing money. Printing allows for more spending just like taking
money from one area of the economy and giving it to the masses as Yang's VAT tax would do. Either of these ways or wealth redistribution cause what is called Demand pull and Cost push inflation: ruclips.net/video/USj52Vlvd5M/видео.html
All UBI trials done worldwide have failed, including Milton Friedman's NIT (not a UBI) Yang fails to mention the 12 year study on Milton Friedman's NIT because again, it failed:

Inflation as per an 8 second google search: www.thebalance.com/causes-of-inflation-3-real-reasons-for-rising-prices-3306094
Andrew Yang is a con man and never gives any real math. Allow me to prove him wrong, feel free to research on your own to fact check me. This is all using simple google searches and Yang's words, words like "3 trillion." UBI costs: $3 trillion. Yang claims the real cost of the UBI is: $1.8 Trillion
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yang's math is bad because he claims $1.5 trillion is already being paid out in 126 welfare programs.
LINK: www.usgovernmentspending.com/welfare_spending
Even if half the people on the 448 billion in welfare spending couldn't collect on the UBI the "savings" towards his program would only amount to approx $224 billion.
So: $3 trillion = $224 billion = $2.776 Trillion. Yang's UBI would cost almost 3 trillion unless he ends SS + Medicaid that total $1.452 Trillion (probably a bit more).
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
LINK for SS Payouts: www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2015/08/18/5-facts-about-social-security/ At the end of 2014, according to the most recent trustees’ report, some 59 million Americans were receiving retirement, disability or survivors’ benefits from the system; the total cost was $848.5 billion. 166 million people paid payroll taxes into the system.
