You do a fantastic job of showcasing the beauty of the area. The fpv drone footage adds an extra element! Well done. Looks like an epic race. Great work.
Thanks! Was trying to think of how best to use the FPV footage, was going to mix it in more, but thought it would make a nice sequence to set up the location.
‘Never again until next year’! Kudos for completing the run and creating such an epic record of the event. Really entertaining and great to see the camaraderie between you all! Your video making is wonderful 😎
I’m late to the party, but what a gorgeous, challenging race! Congrats to all the finishers! The jaw dropping cracked me up, but I think the sheep took it personally. 😂 Your facial expressions always make me laugh.
Thanks, David, yeah its part of the Antrim Hills way. The initial climb and final decent are not public rights of way, but the whole hilltop area is a great walk.
Great to see you back racing again. I've got my first race this year in September (as long as my calf holds out) - Bristol 10k. I think you really milked the jaw bone, although the views were jaw dropping and the route was really something to get your teeth stuck into!
Thank you! 🙂 I used an Insta360 and a GoPro Hero9. The GoPro was used for the talking parts as the microphone is better and I can put wind jammers on it

Thanks Kevin!
It’s been so long since you ran a race that this video felt oddly nostalgic ☺️ The drone shots were well worth braving the wind 😲
Haha yeah it was weird just editing one again!
Great job on the run!! Glad life it returning back to normal in Ireland!
Yay race day. Great fun video. Thanks for sharing.
Liking the FPV footage 👍. The race route looks like a nice route for walking too, I’ll maybe give the dip in the sea a miss 🥶

Thanks Michael, nice to meet you too! 🙂 That bag of sweets I got handed at the carpark seemed to work wonders! 😂
Very nice video and very bad suffering uphill! I wouldn't be any different! 😂

Wheeker, great running.
Thanks George! 🙂
The jaw jokes were the best
Sore jaw laughing? 😂
@@StephenJReid Totally jawsome
Very entertaining! How do you do make the pole invisible?
Magic.
Actually it’s a 360 camera with two lenses, pole disappears in a blind spot
@@StephenJReid very clever, thanks!
hi stephan do you know if this race is on this year
Hope you got a medal?
Nope, most of these races are non-commercial events run by volunteers so entry is cheap but no medals etc
Nobody has ever trained for the event.
Haha, I think some definitely do
