I'm 76 yrs old. Thought I'd try to learn Banjo. Taking lessons from a great teacher. Bought a book of Banjo scales. Teacher says it was written by someone who does NOT play banjo! Hmm.

I wish to learn the melodic style banjo as I am learning to play traditional Scottish fiddle music but do I need a 5th string capo as I believe you have one on this video . If so what is the brand you use as I wish to purchase the same one if available in the UK
